106 Stress. Bug, no? In a dungeon, the pop-up fo return occurred after I entered combat again. I was able to fight 2 more battles before deciding to head home.

omg magic sucks, only 2 magic weapons, no weapons affect the magic dmg so unless ur magic att is 100% ur att still does higher dmg -.-

Another bug - in the Deep Dark Cave, I came across a fairy. I had zero sin, but I still left her there because I was a "sinful guy."

Oh, play the Princess Maker series if you like this... but also like girls :S... Though I warn that Princess Maker 2 was the only one released in English =(.

Would be nice if there was more documentation to this game, really. I like the idea of it. It's fun to play around and see what you can do and how you can affect your apprentice. But the in-game playguide is incomplete, to say the least. The "Char Info" section appears to just cut off. Several sections are missing. (Also, there are a fair number of minor grammatical errors.) As for the vaunted external strategy guide... it's nice, but it's two pages long and contains only a bare sketch. Mostly supplemental information that could easily have been included in the game itself. So, while it's nice that the game is so open-ended, it would be nicer if there was some hint about what your options are, what (in general) you might want to aim for, what different things do and mean, etc. In short... it's a good game, but not quite out of what I'd consider Beta Testing.

Maxed everything out.
All but Magic Attack are at 100+. Magic Attack is at 99.2 because getting Faith involves losing Magic Attack. Same goes for gaining Magic Attack, you lose Faith. Can be maxed though with the help of a Mage Lady, which gives you +1 Magic Attack.

(Continued from below.) The third Donald had attack ability, little to no defenses, no reputation, nothing that would avail him anything should he encounter the weakest of monsters. When he left, no one came to see him off. He was a highly skilled churchman and banker, but he grew up to be... A Brilliant Poet. A tier 4 result. Higher than most of the results I see bragged about in the comments here. How very odd.

So far, I've raised up three apprentices, all named Donald. (Really, what other name can you give the apprentice?) The first was intended to be a battle mage, but it didn't work out so well and so I wasn't surprised when he grew up to be Completely Unknown. The second was raised to be an unparalleled fighter. He grew strong and skilled and gained a significant reputation, while maintaining decent morals and humility and little sin. When he left, the whole town turned out to wish him well, and he grew up to be... Completely Unknown. I'd been tasked with training a hero, but it didn't seem to be going well. So I decided perversely to train up an apprentice who would be completely useless in combat. (TBC)

very fun game, i enjoy immensely. the only thing is that the achievements are kinda pointless, because they require you to complete the game about 7 times (the 4 years isn't a good timeslot for having to complete them all) and nobody's gonna have that patience when they could just continue playing and focusing with one apprentice.

@blogg10: you need to work for cash then school for Combat. schooling Strategy was pretty important too, especially if you want to go magic. working isn't easy until you've gained +35 in a job. gl

okay, that's better: Brilliant Tutor of Combat, tier5, 111427... on top of that, i got up to about +30 magic repute and brought my sin down to 72 at the end. wondering what the other teirs are... max 2 jobs? ranger max magic and combat repute?
