This is, imo, better than the newest in some regards. I love the pictures added giving tone, which are lacking or minimized in the next one. If V manages to refine the overload of items and hero's ontop of adding some of the interface style of the games prior to it, it will be the best yet.

I got Uri Geller the Journeyman Mage. I was asked whether he was a generalist or a specialist. I picked 'specialist' because of the whole spoon thing, you know.

Why do the enemies (liked demon spawn) go to all the effort of making the weapons, if they know that they're just going to walk towards a couple of arrows?

This classic game is still one of the best. Literally thousands of different combinations, good strategy, nice balance of difficulty, and in generally I can waste hundreds of hours on this game. I play other games, but always come back to the Protector series; badges or not.

Why, why, why most of the time RPG elements = massive gridining. Despite liking the concept behind the game, I would have enjoyed this chapter if it didn't involve replaying older maps just to get experience and gold. The biggest problem is that leveling your character and heros takes definitely too much time. Also, I had the bad idea to level up Fast Learner thinking it would greatly speed up leveling up, but it didn't. From the looks of it, the only skill worth choosing is Hardiness, and now I can't reset. There's nothing worse than leveling up and realizing it has minimal impact on gameplay, it just destroys your motivation to grind.

You know what I want?
Less out-of-TD exp and money, more earning heroes and increases in skill points as you progress. Bit of a chore trying to get progression in the game. 3/5
