Is it just me or is "Fast Learner" uselss since the 10 levels it takes to max it completely disregards any 5-50% bonus to exp you gain in the long run?

I don't have an optimal guide yet but it looks like the second level is a good option for training a hero... In my first couple tries I've managed to net around 200 exp on my hero, but my build isn't very efficient and I bet you can do better by getting the hero out quicker. That's using the high damage fire hero who is admittedly the best for that level. By the way, if anyone hasn't realised this yet, you can replay old levels you've already beaten for full exp and gold. Levels are as easy as you want them to be - just grind your way to maxed out skills and a bunch of high level heroes and then steamroll through the game if that's your thing.

Here's a simple farming guide if you're stuck early on:
Play the first level. Find the 2x2 squares of paved tiles on each side. You will build mages on the inside corners (the tile furthest from the paths on each square) and a warrior across the path on the outside corner directly below each square.
Build the warriors first, then the mages, then upgrade the mages to Fire when you can. You will leak a bit on wave 8 and leak the boss once but it's not worth the gold to build enough to no leak; you don't lose that much exp. This method takes about 8 minutes if you click through once you're done building (early wave 3 typically) and you get over 170 gold and 200 exp depending on how many bats you leak on wave 8. Enjoy!

Some find it too hard, some find it too easy... Sounds like the difficulty is about right :) Anyway, good game overall (challenging and fun, though cursed be thy grinding)! I might even fav it.

Nice, nice, but it needs to be a bit more accessible. Not up and down and all over the place like the last 2 games with its' LOLWUT difficulty. Stilllllll nice....

There's nothing wrong with a hard game! I swear to god, players who get mad because they can't beat a game should be banned from rating altogether.

this game is a little to hard and u have to analys each monster to much work to beat normal maps and very hard to beat hard ones

haha .. concentrate is cool. but when i specialize further its worse even against enemies where it should rock. generalise always rules (almost)

Bearnip- Warriors arent ranged soldiers. They never attacked flying creatures in any of the games. Thats part of the strategy.

jayp_1984 - just finished the first medium level. I used a warrior on the first corners, upgraded one to fire, one electric, then both with beserk. Immediately behind them and off a bit so they have a full range two ice mages with slow. Concentrate on upgrading them. Around the back of that first island i put a fire and electric mage too. Wasn't a perfect win, but I passed.

jayp_1984: First medium level. Don't play warriors. Don't play mages on the corners. Appart from that play as many basic mages as possible before levelling any, at least 8. Upgrade with a mix of elements but no poison. 3 fire, 3 energy and 2 cold should do it. I did this map first time so you should be able to do it eventually, hang in there! Much tougher maps to come though :o/ P.S. Good to see armour still has a u in :o)

ive also noticed a major lag when you use the speed up feature, the enemies come faster, but the mages dont shoot faster. fix this as well.

the first medium level is impossibly hard, ive tried every strat imaginable. 4 fires, 4 warriors, 4 of all different mages. its just literally impossible. fix this.

Bug in the tavern: after scrolling over an ability, the information does not stop appearing and it doesn't allow you to select another hero, you must go out of the tavern before you can select another hero.

I really like that game but...
1)awards wont work
2) money and Xp are really low at the begin and too much later... balance it.
