disappointing...bugs not fixed...game crashes when you're losing and kills your save file :/ almost got all rewards and have to restart now but don't feel like ever replaying since its the third time already

I enjoy you can still be creative on the maps.. a specific placement would suck the fun out. but the last classes like necrosis and unholy might etc. are useless.. you have to try and get even 1 on massive portal and you barely make it

decent addition to the series, not as good as the second one, but that was an amazing game.
Heroes were useless, except to get the achievements that required heroes.
None of the maps was particularly hard, well except for Vermillion Bridge), none of them needed a particular strategy or placement, you just throw guys out there who don't match the absorbs of anything coming through and win.
It was nice to get new maps, but having some more thought go into what waves went through those maps would make it even better. Massive Portal was embarrassingly easy for a final battle, it was the eighth map I beat, I didn't even realize it was supposed to be the final map until the last wave came out.

Some people are amazing at this, and the rest are terrible. I dont get it. Fortunately I am one of the terrible ones so I have played for 10 hours and am half done, lol.

The game is quite easy if you study the protectopedia for 5min and play the first 2 parts of the series too. A bit too easy/short in my opinion. I like the series and this one has some nice elements but it lacks a few harder battles. Even the last ones can be done with units of a single 1 element.

Lol im only at 5lvl and i have already finished the game. I did got first hero for first time in second last level. This really sucks...i did believe this was better :P. Sad that game ended at point where i almost thought it started when i got my first hero and few levels

Gah, the experience and gold accrue far too slowly to do anything with them. I mean, I assume that by the time I finish my 10th map, I might have enough experience to buy my 4th skill. Really now? Bah. I don;t like fail-grinding for experience.

Hero cost are not right 1000(or better) to hire him, 100 to deploy him, then a rental fee at the end of the map...i like the skill points per map better(protector 1)..takes too long to get experience points in III ( although you do get them whether you complete map or not)

Great game, but was expecting something much more epic. Finished the game at level 6, and only got a handful of the awards. Last level was the only level I had a unit upgraded to the final level, and that was only on the final boss! Great game, nonetheless 5/5.

Great game, still plenty of room for improvement. feels like it should be a lot longer. lvl 8 and only half the achievements accomplished to beat all the maps. it feels like there should be 3 or 4 zones. could use player made maps to fill it out for prot 4

Pretty cool game. I liked Protector 1 and 2, and like the additions made to this one. One question, though... When placing heroes, do like bonuses stack? Example: Blazing Inferno and Ember both have the power Fire Control. If I place both of them, will I gain a +4 to fire mages when leveled, or will I still just get the +2? BTW: 4/5

I'm having the Pandora conflict too. If I mute the music in the game, Pandora stops playing as well. I have to pause and restart Pandora.

heros are insanely useful. you can upgrade them to powerful fighters and place them pretty cheap on a map.
for gold, as far as i've noticed. unspend gold at the end of a map is used to calculate howmuch gold you'll get to buy and upgrade your heros

Documenting upgrades would be helpful. You currently have information about 1.10e, but I've seen 1.11b and 1.12(cutoff).

Man, what the heck. Just when I get enough money to buy a hero @ 1000 gold I get more heroes that cost 1500+? Is there a point to even having heroes?

Massive portal was surprisingly easy. It was about the eighth map I beat.
I liked tying the upgrades to achievements, I didn't like the heroes. They were never very helpful.

there should be a bonus level where all top level mages warriors and heros can be used this should be unlocked when all levels are complete or when all awards are unlocked then you might actually get to use a fully upgreded player nice game though

Overall I love this game, but there is one thing I really dislike, which has been the case through the whole series. The highest level units are useless. None of the maps (except perhaps little forest) allow you to build a MAX level mage or warrior and actually put it go good use. Instead I find myself trying to hurry up and max out my levels just before the map ends just to earn statistics for the badges. I would love to have a nice long map where I got to use Necromancers, Unholy Might Warriors, etc. for several waves.
