oh my god not another!!! Why make pretty much the exact same thing, AGAIN?!? This is a stupid game. (Cuz its just like the others) I mean, come on!!! No better graphics or anything, its getting old VERY fast, if it wasn't already old and stupid for the few that liked these games. I hate this game and i think the creator should either go die, or make some good, DIFFERENT games!!!! Thanks bye.

"We've all played this already, and more then once. Let it rest already. " I'd have to agree with Creature71 on this one, you just keep repeating an overused concept. The first time it was great, the second time it kinda got old, the third time...barely anything changed! 3/5...

Race Track (hard 10 wave) is buggy, you only get one life, and the end boss crossed the finish line and suddenly I had 2 more lives...
and won. 900+ gold, decent xp.

uh.. the win a map with hero's only award is impossible. there is no map that starts you off with enough gold to hire a hero right away. so you HAVE to buy some basic unit. even with max skills to reduce cost of hero's.

u know...
the awards dont work very well... and they seem a bit... out of the way for something that doesnt seem to help u very much... i mean...
1 thousand times of berserker triggering to get plus 1%?
kinda lame :/

I dont understand how to even get past the level ''Mountain Fire'' I understand that I have to make as much cold mages as possible to beat those creeps but hell, they always beat me!

when buying heros, save up for the expensive ones, they are SOOO much better than the others, and cost the same on the maps

Poorly balanced, heroes are nearly useless (maybe make their abilities passive so they still help even if you don't place them), boring skills (only 2 or 3 of the 8 are useful during the stages), buggy, etc,.. disappointing. This should be called a beta.

Protector I and II were two of my favorite games. This one just didn't work for me. Sorry. Tweak it some, and then we'll see.

Just tested the "first-mage-being-way-too-strong" thing on the first map. I upgraded my first mage to a quickspell with speed focus, so he did only 30 base damage. He was taking 150+ off the boss each hit.

There seems to be a bug. My initial unupgraded mage kicks mega ass. Claims to have 11 in attack strength, but it's more like 200. It just kills everything in one hit. I never bothered trying to upgrade it, so don't know what that would do.
This (possibly) only happened after I bought my first hero.
Quite boring...

I was level three when I reached the final level. There is absolutely no "leveling-up" necessary in this game if you place guys intelligently and upgrade them accordingly. One thing I just noticed, though. The award that makes your first-placed guy do an extra damage seems bugged, because my first guy is doing WAY more than the second. Like, killing things in one hit that he definitely shouldn't.

In theory, you could level up to 80, though the game is easily finished by the time you reach level 5 or 6. And heroes were only troublesome: expensive, crappier than other mages and their "abilities" to inspire the other mages didn't work.
Loved protector 1 and 2 but this one needs serious amounts of tweaking.
