At the same time Protector 3 is better than its sequels, it's also rather lacking in other areas. I've read a lot of complaints about the rewards/awards, and I also feel that maybe they're a touch chinsy or even ridiculous at times. Nice attempt to try and hook people though, maybe review and rethink some of the game to better advance the fourth.

Game seems to difficult. Some maps (without flying enemies) you get 4 mages to do the debuffs and make them specialists. Then you have Crit/Berserk Warriors doing all the damage. Still, you lose horribly. Game needs some tweaking.

I like the recent update that made grinding a lot less necessary or at least made it much faster. Early in the game I like grinding the Odd Portal, you can bank about 350-400 gold and around 300 exp per time, and it is a fast map.

This protector is pretty easy. It's not as hard as a lot of people are saying. Just use a good strategy and you'll always win. Sakred, did u win the game when you got over 100? If not, then it won't have updated awards. Win a map and you'll ge it.

I love Protector, but this one is damn hard :( Maybe I just s*ck, but I was not able to finish some levels no matter how hard I tried. More frustration than fun :( Its a shame

The grind isn't necessary. I was able to beat all the levels with the only bonuses being the incidental ones I got while playing through the levels. You can beat the game just with careful tactics in unit types and upgrades. As far as I'm concerned, the grind is just there so you can eak out as high of a score as possible if you really really like the game.

How do you Level up the Heros in the Tavern ? It says you can level them up there but I cant figure out how to do it.

Easy Money, Play the map odd portal and put a swordsmen in the bottom right tile that you start with, then keep upgrading it, ONLY buy swordsmen their aren't any flying creatures, and mages are really weak, KICK ASS!

someone explain the skill system to me?
especially the whole x/level business. i'm on level 12.
i'm a level 12 character. If I put one skill point into hardiness which says that 1 rank in hardiness should net 1 life per level (level 12 on my part) on each map I play. shouldn't I get 12 extra lives?

I'm still not a big fan of the grind. I like that it's been made less painful, but I still don't like it. As I've mentioned before, I do like the fact that you can continue to grow your abilities even if you can't find a way to beat any new levels (a frustration in both of the first 2 Protector games), but the fact that you really HAVE to do this to progress is a drag.

I just tried this EXACTLY, and lost by the 8th wave. It doesn't work:
"level is very easy start with 1 Fighter, when you have the Money build a second Fighter. After Wave 1 build 2 Mages when you have the Money build a third Mage. So you get to level 3 - now upgrade you Fighters to Ice Fighters - next upragde to Consecrade - then you upgrade them wehn you have the Money - ev. build a 4 Mage. After Level 5 you should upgrade your Mages to Fire Mages - und uprgade your Fighter when you have the Money. That´s it lost no Live....."

I believe modrids 'wrath' ability doesnt seem to work. I had units with over 50 kills having the same damage as units with 0 kills. So clearly it doesnt work unless i misunderstand what it is meant to do.
