@shotie150: You're supposed to rate the game. The gameplay doesn't change just because of badges. That's just stupid rating a game based on if it has badges or not.

Hey HugeBlackGuy, love your strategy but this damn hero thing sucks and I cannot afford any heroes. I have 1050 gold and the cheapest guy I can get is 1400.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game is much easier compared to part 2. the game is also not very well balanced. i have 7 maps left and i'm only on level 5 for skills? i thought i would advance faster in the skills tree by putting my points into fast learner but with the small amount of maps and slow exp gain it doesn't make sense at all to go this route

For mountain fire i just put Mordrid and crystalis and a high concentration of high lvl cold mages with all abilities in center and a few more cold mages in other areas so enemies are always under attack.

The levels of this game need to be longer, to take advantage of the "deep" leveling system of each individual level. currently a level is over before you can really upgrade more than 2 units a decent amount (decent being still a level or 2 away from maximum).
IMO a really hard level should require strategic use of multiple specialists with slows, debuffs, splashes, etc. But most levels are pretty much solved by a couple mages and warriors maxed out for damage alone.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oops forgot to mention, on mountain fire you upgrade the 6 middle spots to cold before you get passed the rounds strong against cold, otherwise you wont hurt the magic beetle at all
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh and mountain fire is really easy if you just spam mages everywhere without leveling them at all, then when you get passed to cold resist groups upgrade em all to cold
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i have beaten every level except the little forest without ever using any skill points, but i cant figure out how to beat it...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there should be a "next wave" button
so you can send the next wave early and perhaps get a bonus from it?
and also when i go to the upgrade menu by accident i cant exit it
it kinda anoying :(
but still its an ok game

Taco I just beat mountain fire, I put all of my guys in the middle region, and started building from the bottom. I put warriors on corners and mages between them. From the beginning I upgraded all mages to cold, but put most of the warriors to physical. After the two waves that resist cold I started upgrading everything to cold. On each indent I upgraded one mage to slow and one to debuff. On the islands I put infect mages. The infect mages I upgraded damage, the destructor, and the other mages I upgraded one level of specialist than destructor. Warriors I gave critical to and did not upgrade past that point. I also used a cold mage hero.

I never actually said that the warriors were the best, and you need hero's your way.
Anyways, it's not like 5 more seconds will help that much.

Can anybody give me any advice to beat Mountain Fire? I've been trying for a while now, but I always lose at wave 11 or 18...any advice?

Sheepman, ironically, despite spending three hours using warriors on that map, I disagree. Mordrid in the second row, one away from the turn, then fire mage on the other side of that row, then a fire hero to boost the fire mage. Fire mage goes to Quickspell, eventually he becomes Blessed by Holy light, Attack speed 1, range 3, damage around 110.

To level them up, you have to go to the tavern, click the icon of the hero, and press lvl up. They don't automatically lvl.

not a bad game, the heros are sorta nice. however getting all of the skills is almost literally impossible. each level (skill) gets up to the 200,000,000 exp each. id give it a 4/5 but the grinding is sorta annoying.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Little forest is easy, way too easy.
Just get a warrior on the SECOND spot, and up it immediately, and on the waves with a lot of units, get more guys gradually. You can even get a maxed unit there...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I dunno about using just 1 warrior on little forest, but using warriors over mages should be painfully obvious on that level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Force1: on little forest use no mages just one warrior fully maxed with damage adding more warriors as when extra money

my game glitched...i had 17 maps done on prot 3 then i went to prot 2 and pressed continue instead of new game and...i had same stats of prot 2...i beat the 5 maps i was missing from prot 2 and came here...all my map was cleared.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey, is it impossible to view how much gold or exp an enemy gives midlevel? I also need to know how much armor they have. Anyways, great game :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the little forest level is under rated. Even when i had a glitch where my second mage that i hired would dish out like 8 times the normal damage, i couldn't beat it. If there was a Very Hard rating, i'd give it that. The final levels are too hard unless you have a super-hero or something.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For people that want to grind xp/gold, the very very obvious best choice is the final map. Usually yields 4k xp and 5k gold if you do it right.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you want to grind, or play this to get all the in game stuff and want to try to max out --- use the racetrack stage to accumulate lots of exp/money. ------- Use this strategy and it wont fail: Post 2 mages at the first two open tiles and one warrior on one of them next to a mage off the bat. Before the end of wave 1 install another warrior across. By wave 4 have both of the mages to energy and slow. By wave 5 upgrade both mages to specalism, one warrior to energy and install 2 more mages on the second set of tiles. By wave 7 you should have 210 gold if you followed this exactly. Put in 8 mages along the bottom tiles. Try to upgrade from now to the last wave as lightly as possible. There are many options but I just use energy ans thats it. No more upgrades till the last boss. Then upgrade a few other mages to energy only and rake in money. You can get around 800+ money and a few hundred exp per run. And its short with 10 waves.

Archers are Broken, I would have rather they stayed with AntiAir damage as a special. Please atleast put enemy number and armor rating in the preview. Overall, great game and getting better.
