Not a good reconfiguration of its predecessors. It would be nice to see something new with this game rather than twiddling around with how bonuses are acquired.

Don't use the 3x speed button on maps that rely heavily on Infect/Cripple. You'll only get 1/3 of the intended effect while sped up.

One of the better things of this game: The music... Usually not something you notice but all 8 tracks are random and fits the game really really well, always has :)

I don't get why the difficulty of "little forest" is rated at "medium" - it's fiendishly difficult. I think I've tried it a dozen times now, with no success yet. The stream of tough, energy succeptible, physical resistant bugs near the end get me every time.

It is a great game, but you should put some badges and maybe give experience and gold easier. People would not get frustrated.

When a hero is fired, does it lose all accumulated experience? That is, if re-hired later, does it start at level 1 again with 0 experience?

Something that annoys me is that Im 99% certain I should have the "For the Horde" award but I don't... had a similar issue with Architect (which I had to beat a level after reaching the required paved spaces to get).

THEGREATGATSBY, read the description for this game. Now I don't know about you, but "final game in the Protector series" sounds to me like there might not be a 4th :P
