bug: infinite loop after losing, after 2 minutes a popup shows saying the game is unresponsive, and then I see a blinking skull graphic and "you could not pay your mercenaries" (even though I have none), have to restart game perhaps losing progress since last save

Am I missing something here? This game seems very difficult and tedious. It takes forever to earn any upgrades and the only way to get them is to replay the same levels many times. Buying a mercenary doesn't seem very worthwhile; they drain a bit of gold just to keep them available and then cost 100 gold to place. After playing for a couple of hours I'm just giving up. It's too long and sluggish to get anywhere. Otherwise, not a bad concept.

In the later games of the why did they remove the mechanic of starting with warrrior and mages, and start using entrirely new units for each hero? I love starting these weak units and training them into superrpowerful warriors.

Guys, Guys, Kongergate has made a few mistakes with this game, like: Wrong catorgory, No badges... and btw this is the only Protector game that doesn't have badges...idk why because for a game to have badges its rating must be over 3.99 which this has clearly passed, and it still doesn't have badges. Please give this comment a + so it will get badges :) good look Protcctor III!

I agree that it would be nice if this game had badges, but it's quite annoying to have to scroll through half the comment thread and see nothing other than "NEEDZ BADJEZ!!!!!@!#!@!#"

These games are terrible. I say it every time the Random button brings me to one of them, but it doesn't make it any less true. It's like doing a jigsaw puzzle with super glue.
