I have that problem too Vigi. I have four heroes but the third and fourth can't be selected.
This comes after I hired&fired 5 other heroes for an award, so maybe the game is inappropriately applying a limit meant for 7 heroes at once to 7 heroes, cumulative.

anyone else not able to click hero's they have bought already in tavern? i have one with 1k exp unable to upgrade to lvl 2 cuz of this :(

i've only played one lvl, so maybe i'm commenting too early - but, this is just the same as the others. And it still involves a tiny little game area. look at mushroom revolt...a large scale map which you can pan around. this is what you should be building towards. I do still like this, but it needs to be stepped up.

awful...all the so-called upgrades from the last make it just consume more time with no more fun...in fact a considerable amount less fun. Protector 1 was already the slowest goddamn td game i've ever played, but this is about ten times slower

Game isn't as fun as the 2nd one. Getting all the skill upgrades would take a long time. Awards are too time consuming. Protector 2 had more strategy involved. Concept is great.

You should definitely allow people to gain gold and experience from lost battles (albeit, obviously, less). As it is, if you get stuck on a particular level, you get the option of A. looking up a guide for the game (AKA- cheating), or B. giving up. At least half the people are going to choose the second option. People should be allowed to get better even without winning, as otherwise, they'll just lose repeatedly with nothing to gain from it.
3/5, mostly just because I expect more from you.

I am dissapointed in this game. The first Protector was excellent! Second was okay... Never got far into it but this? This isn't reaching up to an average person's standards. First it is very not begginner-friendly as it takes a while to even get a level up! Also it tends to lag at times and not forgetting i encountered a bug where as, I couldn't play the level "Orc Rage". It doesn't bother me cause it's a begginner's level but it freezes whenever i attempt to play it. So i'm giving this a 2/5. Sorry folks but in the end you'll understand why i rated this so low.

little frost, put 1 warrior at first line, 1 at the end, then energy=>consecration=>
general=>rogue=>finesse=>general=>
autonomy=>unholy might. you will make it at lv 13. then put some basic warrior or hero at first line. that's tooooo easy.

Airguard, place 2 warriors on the back area, on the bottom, so that they hit 4 squares, before the shrooms place 2 unupgraded mages 2 spaces behind them, then upgrade them to frost, then place 2 unupgraded mages again, between the 2 mages and 2 warriors for the imps, upgrade the middle mages energy-->infect/slow and the warriors energy(wave 2)-->concencration(wave 4)---> general--->archers---->speed---> general again and you should win it i am farming money from it right now, just started.

For little forest fill the first row with alternating phys/energy warriors and the very top spot place a wizard and upgrade it with as much debuff as possible. I made all the warriors have concentrate and go tactician and focus only on damage and I didn't lose a life.

lol soggy shipyard is SOO easy 100% every time (won't be perfect, but works every time)
just put a warrior each end of like the second strip part, upgrade them to archers, always damage and general...pwns

for the little forest, u need energy rogue with consecration. 2 pass lv 14 u must put at last 20 basic warriors. or Frostik may help u with his special skills.

wierd circle guide focus on placing as many warriors as possible till you get to energy rounds then upgrede half to energy and half to cold till final round when you upgrade cold warriors as high as possible.

If you've got the "too many cooks" award, the first guy get's "+1 damage", which, from what I can tell, actually has more of an effect than that at higher levels.

I'm seeing a lot of cheap tricks to up replay "value" without any effort. Very high "awards", very slow levelling, very slow gold gain, etc.
Also, I've got several mages with the exact same upgrades, but different attack power?
I've tested it again in the first level. I've got two Journeyman Fire Magi. One has 14ap, the other 16ap...

It's really annoying whenever a monster with 0 hp doesn't die :/ happens to me quite often and it's really tough to finish map like that

Saint777, on ice shelf try to place mages in the middle of the map and warriors on the edges, where enemy come and go away, possibily in every corner (where a warrior can hit 5 squares or more). Never upgrade your warrior/mages till about half of the waves. On ritual path, same strategy, many mages & warriors which u upgrade to match the latest waves weaknesses.
