@Caulaincourt : All the flags are already color coded by faction storyline quests, so after that it's a matter of figuring out what else is out there. I agree that it gets a little chaotic, but once you figure out the factions it isn't so difficult after that.

I usually love tower defence games... but this is the first i just simply don't like... and i don't even know why... :s
maybe I just picked the wrong characterisitcs at the beginning...

My trouble with all of the Protector games is that, due to the XP-for-upgrade system, you usually can't do jack when you find a wave you can't beat. So you're going along fine, everything is happy, the world is your oyster, and then BAM! You get a wave of hellfrogs or something, you can't beat them, and you have to restart.

Protectomons: How to knock out your collection. Step 1: buy 3 "Gentleman's Dress Rings" and equip on the same hero. Step 2: if your hero isn't "Fire" already buy cheese and convert him/her. Step 3: if your hero's Basic unit isn't "Scavenger" buy "Convent Commands" until you have them.
Step 4: Play "Ruined Smithy" and only use Scavengers upgrading with looting asap. Step 5: repeat step 4 until all Protectomons are collected. You should get anywhere from 2 to 6 protectomons each time you play. I got all of them in no time.

I get that the reason you don't remove the flags from the map once a quest is beaten so that players can go back and replay them to level up heroes, however there needs to be a different way to show which have been beaten and which have not. Maybe turn all flags of beaten quests completely black?

ok, here's the deal. we need some slight improvements to this game. after reading all the comments from this game (and i remember other comments from your previous games), i think u guys need to make a few improvements to your games. here are what your fans are demanding from your games.
1. we really need a x4 speed increase. maybe even a x6 speed option to the waves.
2. we need an option to remove all the flags/lvl's we've beaten. if some forget they've removed the flags/clicked that option, sadly... too bad for those gamers that don't know where all your game options are.
3. uh... all we really want are 1 and 2. if u can fix those 2 problems we'll be much happier while playing your great games.
pls try and deal with these issues. i really don't see how it could be that hard to fix.

5/5 .. I dont often rate games ... and I've played many. But, I'd like to give this credit.. It may not be perfect.. but a lot of good and hard work has obviously been spent on it. And Im enjoying playing it.

@dtbc: The inability to move units once you put them down has always been a big point of the Protector series. It makes you 1: try harder not to make mistakes, and 2: try to see misplaced units as challenges instead of mistakes. Instead of just removing and placing a new soldier, you have to work around the new problem.

be a lot easier if once you opened up the upgrade menu you could cycle through all characters instead of closing the window and clicking on the next character every time - apart from that great game:)

REALLY needs targeting option. Really gets tiresome watching your retarded units fire at the wrong targets all the time. I'd honestly rather kill half the mobs than have ALL of them walking out with a minimum of HP....

For anyone wondering about the badge and I hope I won't be flamed for this. The Tyrian line has blue flags so you want to be doing those Quests. The last one is Don't You Open That Trapdoor! Hope this helps xD I for one know that I was having trouble grasping something so simple *facepalm*

Great game. Could use a way to remove units once placed. An accidental click can cause you to have to restart a level.

If you don't have any money early in the game, buy something, then immediately refresh the page. Reload your save and you will have the item and your money.

it takes 4 clicks to upgrade a unit! i have a keyboard and i want to use it, also buttons for closing all the popups and starting a new wave. And im missing an explanation of all the skills, ok "slow by x%" is self explaning, but wtf is consecration steal or gold return?

It's a great game, just like its previous versions, but it could be even better with a few improvements:
1. make paving ctrl+click or shift+click instead of simple click, it is really annoying if you miss a unit you wish to improve quickly and have to look for X in order to close the "Do you wish to..." instead of...
2. click outside a box to close it. It will make upgrading units MUCH easier, and will get rid of problems with accidentally clicking somewhere you didn't want to.
3. Change the unit level-up "ding" script, right now it still checks the base exp needed to lvlup(like 500, 1000), instead of counting (leadership? logistics? I don't remember at the moment) bonus(which would make it 400 and 800 exp respectively).
