I figured it be much simpler to use ranged and magic units since they hit anything. Through comments I see not many people use melee units for obvious reasons. I propose a high increase in attack for melee units

I've scrolled through the first three comment pages, and was quite surprised to see that Jodell88's comment was so badly downrated (-22). He just reported a critical issue that *prevents* to play the game: the main menu is flashing in loop preventing to click the "play" or "continue" buttons. I happen to experiment the exact same problem. Very frustrating, but i wonder if it hasnot anything with the client config (firefox 3.6.10 on ubuntu 10.10 here). Thanks for looking into that if possible. Rating down comments such as the one jodell88 made seems very sick from my point of view, since, as far as i far i know, we don't any other mean to report bug to the developper (but please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong).

On a 25 wave level, I was using all fire. Right before the last level, i realized the boss absorbed fire. I spammed as many of my poison and physical guys as I could. It took 10 lives (this is one of the levels with the longest walk for the monsters) but I won. My poison and physical heroes ended up getting more XP then the fire hero.

I don't know what is going on - the game falls into loop on the main screen - controls (new game and so on) slide from the left side of the screen continuously, in the loop. Anyone gets the same? it is happening on firefox and chrome as well.

I guess i found a bug. I made my Trainees have Physical attribute with the cheese, but now they don't make any sound while they attack: instead they "copy" the last sound played by the game and play it whenever a enemy is killed. Thumbs up so developer can look into the problem

well you send those troops back here and have them march in a line a line without attacking back or else youll get them killed!!!

enemy troop commander: omg look at the ambush ahead of the road!!
recuirt: should we attack the troops to clear a path?
commander: you dont get how things work around here, we have to send all of our men to walk slowly in a stairght line and hope one of them gets to the other side while everyone else gets slaughtred.

Am I the only one who ALWAYS wanted an Endless Mode in Protector because was never able to get on normal maps, like, 10 FULLY UPGRADED guys?

exscuse me but this is not related to the game, my virus system has been picking up some threats very close to times i visit kongregate, could someone confirm the site has been hacked or infected?

My only complaint is that it is too hard to unlock the stores. Ive finished several campaigns and STILL only have 2 stores available.

Suggestions:
1) Faster speed!
2) Option to automatically send waves instead of clicking between each one.
3) Some reason to use melee units... like enemy types immune to magic and ranged attacks.
4) Easier way to compare heroes.
5) Easier way to see the faction affiliation of units.
6) Sort the in-game achievements.
7) Sort button for inventory.
8) More info in Protectopedia on... well, nearly everything.
9) Option to hide/dim completed quests.
10) More challenging enemies on later quests. (Maybe a toggle-able 'heroic' mode that doubles the difficulty and rewards of all quests?)

To be honest, I dont really enjoy the Pet Protecter series. However, this game has made me change my mind! This is a wonderful game.
