In Protector V, Why Don't You Make Units Immune To Ranged And Magic As Well Like Flying Is To Melee, Like For Magic Maybe: "Antimagic", And For Ranged Maybe: "Thick Armor" (Like Thick Enough To Block Arrows).

Love the protector games! That said this one is no disappointment, but it appears that I can't unlock new stores. Must be a glich, I have been playing for 8 hours and only four stores unlocked.

@Shadowssb. There is actually another way around Forged Metal. The Guardian unit is the ONLY melee unit that has a range of 2 squares. He also has consecration. If his element is physical (Like Protector Charay) then you can take on everything. Add in your unit of choice that debuffs, and you've got a good thing going.

cyriac: There are two things to notice for Forged Metal: a) Elements - if you use physical type units, you'll lose to the Beetles, and if you use lots of Energy type units, you'll lose to the Cave Lich, if not before. Poison doesn't make much sense either, since several of the enemies are strong against it, so that leaves just Fire and Cold. It shouldn't matter too much which you choose, but from memory I think you have more player skills the boost Fire at that point in the game, so I'd use that. b) at 1500 health and 17 armour, those beetles in wave 14 are hard, but there are no flying enemies. You need a lot of punch to break through them, because they all come at once. That suggests melee units, which tend to have higher base damage, along with a hero carrying three high-power swordplay-boosting items would be the way to go - although any strategy which can give you lots of units all dealing a lot of damage at once would work. The level is a harder version of The Treasure Hunt.

@Odriew: It means the unit deals full damage plus the consecration % to enemies strong against its element (that's what I heard anyway, and it seems accurate).

@TheFrozenTurtle: The issue is that only the highest number of something is taken. Having -30 pave cost on one character and -20 on another, will result in -30 pave cost, not -50. The same is certainly true for that. Lives may be in the same boat.

On the Forged Metal Quest for Hamlar, I'll use 3-4Caskets of lives and always have 31 when I start. Can you fix this?

Nice game but WAY to easy... Melee was pointless. My idea: buff non-flying units HP and armour to a level where ranged and macial units can not kill them. And then buff melee's dmg and armor piercing. Requires a complete rebalance of the game though... I hope there will be any use for melee in P-5^^

in older protector versions you had necromancers who gain extra damage for every kill, is there still a unit like it in the game?

Very nice =)
Would see the stats of the units (range, damage, speed) on the page of the heroes.
See the skills that have units.

LordYinepu, try to stuff your foot in your mouth a bit further. There is no bug with the bugs: bugs have high armor. You need to have units with higher damage, get armor penetration, or level up your current units to hit them.

This game is still way too easy and even trivial and boring if you simply stick with the first mage hero you get and put all your upgrades into Magic Use. You will always win as long as you exercise elementary common sense in unit placement and upgrade timing during quests... you might need to change elements for some quests but since you can scan waves in advance, simply change to whichever element does NOT get absorbed (and there will always be at least one). Game over, too easy !

If your goal is to remove all the element switching equipable items you need to edit what the stores sell and what artifacts Arkandia Jones can find I just got a cold switch artifact from him

Adeyy - you solve storyline quests. As you climb through the storylines you add new locations as your friendliness with the various factions increases.
