I'd really like to know how shop unlocking works. I've been playing for a while and have only unlocked four, which is frustrating because I remember unlocking most of them right way in Protector IV

The badges for Poison skill over 15 and Fire skill over 15 are impraticable! They really should have changed this! Even the ones for 8 skill are too high!

Vote plus if you think "Undefined" should be sponsored by kongregate (if he isn't already) too put up new games on this site!!!

Not sure if this has been asked already but would it be possible to add a glow or something around new badges in your skills screen? Makes it a bit easier to see recently acquired ones without having to squint or manually run your mouse over all the other badges. Or maybe have alternate sorting, such as alphabetical or by attributes? But otherwise, a great game!

All the flags on the map can be very chaotic. It would be nice if you could toggle ON/OFF certain types of quests like normal/storyline, complete/incomplete, different factions and levels with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 waves

Bloody hell I already love the Tyrian campaign because of it's "easiness", and I have a week to go till the weekend.. Can I stand this? <:(

One thing that could REALLY help this game is a mass-auto-upgrade that just upgrades everything all at once so you don't have to click the guy, click the upgrade, click close, click the next guy and so on. On certain levels this takes forever. One of my favorite games though :) + if you agree this needs a mass auto upgrade

it would be cool if you could send more then one wave at a time, not for any bonus or any thing but just for an added chalenge if you want it

My number one complaint: Please implement some universal way to tell whether or not a mission is completed. Each faction has its own "uncompleted" and "completed" colors, but some of them are very similar and there's no cross-faction consistency that I can tell. It makes it kind of annoying to go between each available mission and check the best ones to do at the moment.

Whoah...so I'm playing and having a blast as I always do with these games, go to hire a hero, am told my Leadership is low. I have quite a few heroes so okay, go to check my skills. ALL my skills are reset to zero, and all my skill points are gone. WTH?

Atmospheric, rpg-like beginning, nice graphics and music, high production value overall... and then, it's the same old TD again. :(

@SMGno1:pick a hero you want to level up (dont go melee) and concentrate your skills based on that hero, ie range for range, magic for magic and soon or later the maps will be too easy for you.
@Narg: complete storyline quests

SUIT UP!
You've suited up in a Stinson suit
All stealing checks grant a 5% bonus...!!!
Can this game get more AWESOME?

It didn't go from a simulation game to a tower defence game. He made two games with sequels, Protector and Pet Protector.

is there a typo in the forged metal quest, or are all 30 of those beetles really supposed to have 1500 hp? I can't even beat it only building energy mages, then the boss absorbs energy so that wouldn't work.

Still Imbalanced. Melee is not as good as ranged; most of the skill tree is pointless compared to damage boosts; many skills (like Charm and Wisdom) are a waste. Save games from Protector 4 don't work with this version. Not enough has changed to justify the 4.5 title. Should just be an update of the existing game. I disappointingly give this a 1/5.

Elemental change as an item property doesn't exist anymore? Then how come I've found items that switch a type either when equipped or out-right?

The protector series is fun, but still feels like the same recycled material since the very early games, despite all the slapped-on stats and skills and whatnot.
