I think I'd enjoy it a bit more if skill points cost more the more points you have in a skill, rather than the absolute "each point costs more than the last no matter where you put it"

1/5 not even gonna play past the "continue"....then start a new game now option what happened to my protector IV save file, this " follow up expansion to Protector IV" is nothing of the sort its a whole new game...lies and a bunch of fail going on here. BTW, I lied i played the game a little, 1/5 still cause i wanted to play my old protector IV chars again in this "expansion"

Why is it that normal quests come and go in a random fashion? 1 completed, 2 lost from map! Could you please add a tab in stats to follow what quests are left, maybe show game completion %?

I found an elemental change scroll and equipping it on a character doesn't do anything. Either this is a bug because such an item isn't supposed to exist, or it's a bug because it doesn't work properly.

I just used an Original Protectorpedia on a hero with 12 skill points, and it completely mind-wiped the hero back to 0 xp 0 skills! That's ... rather violent, and not a 'small amount' of experience lost in the transfer as it says on the label.

Are you sure element change as a property no longer exists? Because in the Council's Court shop I found an item that said: elemental switch: energy.

This isn't really a huge bug but my Crossybow protectomon doesn't 'move' when I click him... =(
And.. why are the Enchanting talent and the Looter talent both unlocked by 'looting 30 or more items'? This is essentially one requirement for two talents...

I like this series alot (its one of my favourite games on this site) but I don't think it would be fair if you won the monthly prize for re-releasing this game with only a handful of additions to the old one; currently at the time of writing this is ranked 2nd in the list. I would hope you didn't actually set out to achieve that however, as that my friend, is the definition of being an opportunist.

I have in fact completed the entire game using nothing but a Patroller. Incredibly easy. I often didn't even have to upgrade any - just spam them to all available spaces. Advice to players: do the Protectorate mission as soon as it's available, put all upgrades into Ranged until maxed, and the only hero you need to hire is Defender Jameson. Game is very badly balanced.

IVE TRIED IT ON A NEW HERO WHO HAD ONE POINT IN EACH STAT, NOW HE HAS 0 XP AND o IN EACH STATS

The main strategy is to boost the heck out of a small handful of champs. Ranged champs always max Ranged and so forth. The other skills are FAR inferior to straight up more firepower. You are kind of stuck using your Fire melee starter but you will replace him with an Archer/Scirmisher basic troop user ASAP. You will keep your Energy mage all game because she OWNS. Trainees are one of the strongest units in the game. Amazing debuff, hard hitting, ranged. Archmages are very strong too. Rememeber, Scirmishers and Archers are your 3 ranged archer guys and totally dominate. Gold is pretty much useless so save it for the +5 life/-5 paving cost items. These are among the best in the game for a long long long time.

Huscarl is so damn overpowered ;O. Just have only them + ranged units with additional air dmg and you can just smash the game ;d.

I've just found a quest called 'Snakes on a plain' and the quest description is: 'Enough is Enough! I've had it with these Mudderfloppin' snakes on this mudderfloppin' plain!'
And that my friends is why i love this game xD

Is it just me or is the bleed ability useless? After 8+ hours of playing I haven't seen or could think of a time when lowering the max hp would be helpful. Unless there is an enemy with regeneration so high that's the only possible way to kill it?

at least, on previous versions of Protecter, consecration meant that your unit would ignore x% of the elemental resistance, for example, if u get a physical soldier consecrate level 1 (20%), it means he'll bypass 20% of the enemy physical resistance

If there was an adjustment that would make the waves attack one after another without requiring a click, we could start the mission with enough men and then go afk till the mission ends.

great game, wasting too much time already. what would really add to the enjoyment would be if you saw the damage in the combat text above an enemy from posion/bleed (damage over time) effects etc (-2 -2 -2 -2) while enemy is walking, not only the direct damage done. cheers

Goody! This game is NOT saving. The items that change a hero's affiliated element do not function anymore. Some quest achievements aren't functional. FLOG THE SERFS! BBQ them!
