It's an amazing game, hands down, just brilliant, 5/5 no questions asked. I can only imagine of GemCraft as a worthy rival in terms of only not a "raw fun" (which 15-kb Tetris is) but also the "candy effect" into all of it, with wonderful graphics to enjoy and tiny gameplay details to explore not just in the world of TDs but "fast-fun" flash games as a whole. -> Next

Just focus on the first Magic Energy Hero.. focus on her trainees dmg, and your set for almost all the levels.. only worry for absorb energy levels - but for those, prepare a fire magic hero with a dmg focus..

To steal you have to have the "cutpurse" unit i believe, and the only que i could see was your gold amount goes up, yet no monsters have been killed...
also love the names. I got Harry Potter as one of my mages, needless to say buying that mage was a mistake :P

agreed. when you click to level up a character it would be brilliant if it just closed the menu then. and maybe have a toggle down the bottom so you can turn this on and off, in case there's a wave with loads of exp and you want to keep upgrading. 5/5 anyways.

How to signal a bug in the game? Here in the comments or somewhere else?
Basically I notice that once you've opened the stat tab for an unit you can select another one without need to close the current tab.
When skill tree tab is selected, instead, you can't do that, and it's very annoying.

Here's a thought, what if you could designate one unit at the end of each quest to be placed again in the next quest, should that class be chosen again?

It would be really great if I didn't have to click [x] every time to close a unit's skill tree. It's the only thing that's irking me about this stupidly addicting game...

The strengths and weaknesses might be broken. I went through two rounds where units that were weak to poison took no damage from my poison units on the field.

The easiest place to farm exp and items is The Great Hydra quest. just do it over and over again. Preferably with an scavenger unit and poison. this way you get extra loot. i just finished a run got 1.4k exp for that hero and 18 items due to the scavengers ability to loot.

I guess my biggest disappointment in the game is that it is so short. The underpinnings of the game suggest something absolutely epic, but it was over before it even got started. I don't find it very fun to play the same quests over and over again, which is what the game seems to depend on. The story lines don't make a lot of sense and aren't very long. While what is there is excellent, it seems like all the effort went into the background mechanics, while the actual gameplay was an afterthought and poorly planned. Like Protector III, this could have been so much more than it is.

Dropped my score from 5 to 4 when I completed it. It's far too easy now, previous versions have levels I still haven't beaten.

One of the best games of it's kind. Heaps of fun, great sound/gfx/gameplay. Addictive as they come and a definite 5/5!

Nice graphic but a Mage is strong than a Footman..... You can complete every level using only Archwizard (100gp are too low, was better 250) or mage

protip: only use the mage...and play the map "the great hydra" over and over again...its only 10 levels, but gives ur mage lots of exp! (1500 for me! =O) and put ur exp/skill points into magic use and tactics!
and if there is a absobs level, use a "change element item"
tadaa! u can now beat every single level in the game

@voidbreather read mu post below, i know which missions u talk about. I needed only one skirmisher that dealt them about 500 dmg ( not critical ) and that was very easy kiling. U just have to know the game !

I honestly wanted the series ended after playing Protector 3. You have not only redeemed yourself, but surpassed yourself as well. You have produced one of the best tower defense games i've ever played. Cheers. A guide for how to operate certain skills/effects might be nice(Stealing, certain talents, etc), but either way, thank you for making an extraordinary flash game.

i have a record of my own. In the very last mission, The root of all evil, i hitted the last boss, using barbarians advanced unit named Skirmisher for 1750 critical dmg. Believe it or not, but its true. How ? well 30 points in ranged and 15 in element makes is far easier. Then the best skill against flying units ( cuz he is flying ), idk how much it gives total, but surely more then 400% dmg. Then the two +40 and two criticals. And here u go. Plus he had weakness against psychical attacks, so its possible. If i had about 500 exps more i would hit him for more dmg. Btw i had 4 units like that. So 5 or 6 hits and the last boss was dead. Quite a rip off for skilled players, that wanted some epic end. Still 5/5 game. Make Protector 5, and make it much much much larger, more more units skills, etc. And like 5 times more mission :)

collecting all Protectomons would be a fine impossible badge too, actually this game could have two or three of them.
