the thing that's killing this game is the inability to see what is coming before you take a quest. the scout achievement at the moment is useless, but could be changed so you get to see how many waves are in a quest, how many flying units there are, and how many wave have a weakness to a certain element. more then half of my defeats are through stumbling blindly in a situation that i couldn't help but stumble into.

Come on 2nd fight = auto death WT? lame very lame Tried a few different approaches and it matter not. this will not draw in new players. 2/5

I requested this on the Protector III comment section and I'll do it again now... PLEASE decrease the height on your next Protector game. I have a 17" laptop and I still can't fit the entire game window.

GREAT game. However, after a while it gets tedious picking out the upgrades for your fighters. It would be cool if you could specify a pre-chosen path for a specific fighter and have 2 choices when you go to upgrade a person, one to choose on the map and one to upgrade the predetermined path.

you know, were it not for protector 1, I never would have found Knogregate, but to see how far the series has come from such humble beginnings is simply astounding.

I love this game. I'm not one for the "tower defense" game genres, but this game was exceptional. Plus, I find the randomly-generated names hilarious. I got a magician named Yawne, and another named Blade XD. 5/5, not for originality, but for just plain awesomeness.

strange-one of my heros has crosbowman for a normal unit and PALADIN for the advanced unit! also, all units belonging to a hero (hired from his sub-menu) have that hero's element! so the choice of which hero to use on each map is critical-you can't just choose the hero with the highest level!

So the game looks excellent, but if I may make one comment, it'd be nice if the element types showed you exactly what they were when you moused over them. Fire is quite obvious but for example, energy used to be purple in the older Protector games, however the purple cloud (fist?) emblem is physical here. It's quick to figure it out by trial and error, so this is just a minor complaint. The Protectopedia does not include a reference, which is also unfortunate.
