i think that you should make it more obvious that you can upgrade your heroes and stats. :). i was like 1/4 of the way through and then i realized. wow i did not know i could upgrade. lol. and i have noticed that there are some other people that have not upgraded when they can. so please add this into the tutorial or something.

How do i get more leadership? I have lots of gold and i cant spend it in new heroes that I desperately need!Why? because it says that i dont hav enof leadership! HALP!

Why doesn't my Elemental Tuition not work? I'm "equipping" it like normal, but it won't change to the type or use the item.

Just put all your skills into supporting one hero (any will do, but even the weak ones get better than switching after 2 hours of playing), and use the element changing cheese or items to make it fit the map's requirements (aka, just make sure no absorbers absorb your hero's element). No map will require brains beyond that, because the game is unsatisfactorily easy. Lacks a 'HARDCORE' mode!

Scithen, the scrolls for those missing skills are for sale in the stores of other kingdoms. Look on the store page and you can click other stores and buy scrolls there.

Advice to badgers: you'll complete the entire storyline before 'wisdom' is maxed for you, and if you take even one point of it it'll just SLOW down your exp progress all the way to winning the end. And from my calculations, months beyond too you'll still be worse off for putting any points into wisdom. So like in version 3, wisdom is a total ripoff, worse than losing the exp for one level! I really really really wish those issues would be fixed and the game balance is also incredibly out of whack: after getting the last badge I'm still *weaker* than some one-hour-old players who seem to have much, much, much better heroes than I do or much, much, much better stuff without getting lucky with jones or putting points in looting or using thieves. Some of the hidden formula handicap people arbitrarily to extreme degrees - even more than putting 20 points into wisdom!! Nice game concept, but game balance is still in still badly in 'beta testing'.

The game is way too simple, just increase the magic use skill on urself and ur hero. I used the first mage hero u get (I used that hero for ALL quests, never used another hero). All you have to do is to be sure that none of the mobs has absorb in the element that ur hero is, if so then spend the 1000 gold to swap to an element that no waves has absorb on. When ur hero is at 20 magic use skill start increasing his/her elemental skill. And also throw all + magic use item on ur hero. When uppgrading ur mages always start with Mana Harnessing then Expose Weakness and after that Mental Focus. If u follow these simple steps u will never loose a single match.

i like how this game still maintains the protector legacy of having an entire level ruined by a single wave. 4/5 though.

Just a little nitpicking: Once a unit's BASE damage reaches over 100, the third digit gets cut off a bit. My huscarl at 210% base damage after a few levels has a base of 105, and I can't see the 5 completely.

Can you sell a unit ? There was a boss who had absord, and I misread the element, so I ended up with the wrong units haha.

This game was ridiculously easy, I didn't use anything other then a archer/crossbow hero and a mage/archmage hero .. A couple levels I had to use a fire element footman/knight but other then that it was shockingly easy!

Also, it would be awesome if we could click on another unit while another upgrade window is still up and on screen, rather than having to exit first.

Upgrading units is very slow and click heavy. Maybe have the upgrade screen be the first window that pops up when you click on a unit rather than the stats screen.

Great game! 5/5 Best Protector yet! --Very polished. --Love the interface. --Some unit balancing needed. --Melee=useless. --Would be nice to have 3-4 speed options instead of 2. Keep the current 2 and add one that is twice as fast as the fast mode. --Love the addition of glowing borders around the achievements. -- Thanks for a great game!

This game requires a good amount of time and patience. But then, it wouldn't be an RPG otherwise. Brilliant improvement on what I feel is a stale genre. Otherwise, 5/5.

A couple of minor points: (1) the font really degrades in some cases on low quality, and (2) it would be nice for new talents to be highlighted. I find myself having to scan the entire talent listing on the skills pane to see what new bonus I earned.

My Best So Far on red storyline quests still reads 0 after having done some. Anyone else experience this problem. Did you still get badge when you completed them all?

the sound effect of dying enemies sounds like somthing off a game called gauntlet for anyone who has played it and geme gits 5/5 in everything

I was wondering if you could include a description of the effects of the inflictions that units inflict on their enemies, as all of us are not avid players of the series.
