Is it just me, or on the Storyline Quest titled, 'the Great Hydra,' is it impossible to place a unit anywhere? Possible bug.

This is a pretty awesome game, only thing is sometime in the middle it does become a grindfest to level up and hire new heroes. IE, I face a ice-based level and I have no ranged ice units, thus any flying ice units will be very hard to kill and thus I must find a ice ranged hero, yet none is available.

I guess it's just not my kind of game. 9 tries, 1 success. I almost won once but then I got slammed and my guys just couldn't keep up. Most games start off very easy, let you work into it. This seems to have a very steep curve. Ah, well, I shouldn't mark it down just because I can't play it well... it is kind of frustrating though, as I can see how fun it could be.

Another scout bar flying issue:
Storyline Quest "Mountain Highway," wave 11:
Gazer Escorts: Strong Energy, Weak Poison [Flying] [Regen] [Flying]
Waves 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, and 11 in that quest seem to have a [Flying] where they shouldn't.

The quest description's scout bar still isn't showing flying correctly. The "Grandpops" normal quest showed nearly every wave was flying, when really only a handful were.

Thank you for changing the recommended element to a full scout bar. It feels less like a game of chance because of it. If I lose now I've no-one to blame but myself.

You can no longer visually tell what rank your units are from leveling them. You have to individually click all of them to find out what to upgrade next. Also it is a pain to keep checking the cost to level rather than a visual signifier(sp?). This is definatly a step back if ti was done on purpose.

its hard to try out all the units - the system discourages from trying different heroes. also melee units are completely underpowered, just as the only melee heroes. there is abundance of flying everywhere and with the limited selection of elements, you are always more likelůy to choose the flying heroes

oh joy! I've been waiting for Diablo 3 and Elder Scrolls 5... but Protector 4 will hold me over till then, thanks for puttin another great game out :)

umm... i really dont see whats SOOOO different with this one and the others... just because it has a map doesnt make up for the crappy graphics... this really isnt that good. i dont see how 'you can't stop playing this' its really kinda stupid =/

I wish there was a retry option...so many times I come to an absorb wave I didn't notice on first glance. It ravages me, and I want to immediately retry the level.

What if tactics/leadership determined how much of the scouting report you get to see before a map? If you think that would be a nice add-on please rate up

Possible bug: I got the talent "Sneaky" for stealing over 500 gold but not the talent "Cunning Thief" for stealing over 200 gold.

@JMaster11: Forgotten Cavern is very challenging, but you can finish it without taking a hit. Put your fire units in the back to kill the swarms of fire enemies. Then build up many strong energy units near the entries to finish off the boss before he gets to the fire units.

Wow... Just... Wow! Amazing game man...
Music: 10/10... Just amazing, such a big improvement from the last game. As a musician I can say that this is brilliant use of music. Medieval and heroic feel to it. beautiful!
Gameplay: 10/10 As always... The gameplay is just awesome
Storyline: 10/10! I love the storyline you have put up here, and all the text put into the game, you really worked hard man!
New units + Items: Perfect man... Not too overreacting, but a great difference and I love that you can swap ur hero element with items, and plan tactical stuff like that.. 10/10

Do these requisition orders ever work, or what? I've tried to use a Council one on a Council of Magi character five times to change her basic unit and nothing happened aside from a neat sound effect and the scroll disappearing.

Do the heros that seek you but got replaced (via new hero comes when all 5 spots are full or fired) ever seek you again, becase when you can only hire so many based on your leadership skill its hard to get all the really good heros and it be a shame if I dont ever see that hero with 11 skill points again.(that got replaced by another hero when I chouldn't hire more then my leadership) I think there should be more ways to level up leadership(or at least more skill points per lv) because im back where I was back at Protector III where it was taking FOREVER to level up and get any of the skills to high levels.

wave info instead of recommended element is really better for pros, but for noobs who isnt good with elements yet, it might hinder them in my view

The one thing I don't like is there's no fast way to level up. You have to open the character info, then open the skill tree, then apply your skill. Up to this point it's understandable. But then you have to close the window, and then open the next unit's window.
I'd like to have either a fast close button for the window. Or a way to change who's selected but leave it on the skill window.
