So what do you guys think? Generally which path is better. The speed or damage (top) path? The generali8zed +power & speed middle path is always good in a battle with a lot of AR, imo.

Thanks bazooka0! Now I just have to find a hero with a gentleman... I guessed that they might be from the Guild of Honest Gentlemen, so I keep playing those quests, but to no avail (I have 19 heroes and none are from the Guild, for some reason!). I've also tried using the Authority thing that lets you give other heroes the units from different factions, but that also hasn't worked (when I do Guild for basic and advanced, it gives me Thief and Shadowdancer). Before I start randomly spending money by systematically going through the authority changes, does anyone know where the gentlemen come from?

also a thief, scavenger, and shadowdancer are more likely to loot(i used and still use arkadia and put it on my starter fire guy and i looted so i think you can loot with whoever)

I seem to have finished all the storyline quests. But in the achievments screen, I see that there's one still left. The quest is called "Correcting." How do I get this to appear?

oh and as a sidenote, if you only need 2 heroes for a battle equip the 3rd hero with items that improve loot chance, i only have a 5 loot skill but one of my hero has 3 items +2% +3% +3% loot chance and i get at least 2-3 items a battle

@ noselicious42 IV just keep playing, you need to get 30 items. while you play a mission you'll notice a treasure chest appear sometime meaning you looted something, it just takes patience

It should say, "Are you sure?" when you click the end game button. I accidentaly quit a quest when I was about to win!

Having normal quests be one-shot deals takes a lot of the more enjoyable strategy out of the game. Otherwise great game!

I like how I can't make a Technomancer at the beginning of a match even though I have enough money. Default 75 start, the cost for unit is 68.

ignore last comment it was supposed to be the place where you can hit enemys but this isnt that good with say archwizards as they have a longer range than the normal 12 square radius
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
just in case you dont know you put your units on the edges so they can hit more enemys
example ________________
or here> |_______________| <put units here
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not sure if this already exists, but there needs to be a way to replace units for double the cost or something, cause i have lost so many levels cause i place 1 wrong unit
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I know it's not a new game at this point, but there needs to be a way to command your units to prefer specific targets. It's irritating to have the units I've placed to guard one of two paths turn their backs on that path and attack units at the extremity of their range, while the units they're supposed to be taking down walk by them and move on to the exit.

@ chaldon (currently in the featured comments section): do you mean, your Cold Patroler upgraded with Consecration might help? From what I understood from your above explaination, Consecration gave you strenght vs monsters that you already are weak against. Is that correct? eg.: Monster: strong vs Poison, weak vs Physical. Protector: Poison type. So when you add consecration (granted it is available) the protector will gain an "elemental" advantage even though it is weak against the monster's strenth (poison)? Please rank this up or if somebody could answer it would be nice :)

something that should be perma-linked on this thread, a complete guide to all units and their abilities and upgrade trees:

seriously. every "normal" quest I have gone on has started off reasonable, and then it always has one absolutely ridiculous wave of a hundred fast badgers or something. No, this game has potential, but needs a lot of work IMO.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
and what's a protectormon? I had one drop, but I have no idea what it is, or where to find it in my skills or inventory?

I like a lot of the strategy involved here. However, I found the following to be weaknesses: - heroes for hire are way to random wrt to skills, abilities, and type of soldier used. - battles do not follow logical progressions wrt to enemy numbers, strengths, or speed. You can be rolling along just fine for many turns, then the next wave is entirely disproportionately fast and strong. It's bloody ridiculous. Even starter quests, where all the element weaknesses are met, often contain essentially unwinnable waves. Meh, I like the concept, but I think it needs work myself.
