i like the game very much i just can't figure out how to get new heros and i have a leadership of 14 i may be stupid but i think that should be enough to get at least one new hero i like the game 5/5 just wish i knew how to get new heros if anyone could help me that would be great

Same stuff as ever. I just enter every TD just to rate it 1/5. I just can't believe that most folks just like to play the same stuff over and over again, just under a different title and theme. Rate me down, I don't mind, just because you don't seem to have a mind. =)

Great game but i have one suggestion. NEEDS TO HAVE THE OPTION TO SELL UNITS!!!! if you have enough gold to replace a basic unit with an advanced one thats GREAT :D!!! too bad you cant get rid of the first one. :P

It's nice to see Kongregate get special treatment over Armor Games for a change. Anyway, I'm glad to see another Protector game, this series is so great.

Epic Game.
At one point my energy mages were so overpowered though that I didn't need any other element unless the bosses had energy absorption.
Definitely need badges!

Too easy. I use one hero and one unit. I change the element if necessary, but it's usually not.
Please add a way to speed it up even more. It's too slow right now.

For a game so strongly focused on planning ahead, there is certainly a disappointing lack of available data that might help me actually plan. I should know what kind of enemies I'm facing before I choose what heroes to use, I should know what abilities and armor my enemies have before I pick what units to place, and on complex map layouts I should know how the enemies path before I decide where to place my units.

Is there any way to create a mechanic that allows melee units to strike at flyers, even with a steep damage reduction? Investing gold and space to a Paladin feels like a waste when he just watches a whole wave float right past him!

There was a bug in one of the normal quests (not the main storyline) that had no spaces to build on whatsoever. All water and a little grass but thats it. Didnt pay attention to the name of it, but there was some 5 rounds and 600 gold that you start with. Also, when using one of the items that changes your basic starting unit to something else, it blanks out when you go to fight in a quest and causes you to go in the negatives for gold.

Nice game, but new heroes never show up. I get the message that a new hero is available for hire, but then they never show up anyplace after that. Bug, or feature?

it would be nice if in the statistics page you actually see all of the statistics and not just the ones that are towards skills.

WHY CANT YOU SELL UNITS!!!!!! i am currently in the middle of a lvl where the last boss only takes 1 damage from a couple of my units who have armor penetration and if i could sell some units to make room for melee i could actually win!!! ADD THE ABILITY TO SELL UNITS!!!!! other than that great games and i would like to add my voice to all the people reminding you that this is a FREE GAME not some mmo that you pay $15 a month for. if you want that kind of quality why are you playing flash games.

The little symbols that almost look like offhands in the pictures (stars, bows, swords) are the type of weapon they wield. Star= Magic, Bow=Ranged, Sword=...Sword.

not a "bug" per say, but when in the shop and looking at items, if i press backwards from the first set (0/20) it starts going into negative numbers (-20/0) perhaps a "loop around" system where it shows me my last/highest page of items instead of going into negatives continuously

i think it could be better by being able to hire a hero every FEW ROUNDS! right now you can just start and end missions to get the hero you want. fix this or reply to me profile PLEASE!

It would be nice to have a little more information on normal quests, such as difficulty level, number of waves, etc. It would also be great to have a secondary recommended element or something. As it stands, the first element is almost never enough, and I just have to hope I get lucky with the other heroes I choose.

I'd like a few enhancements. One to be able to hover over units to see their stats before I buy in the level. Two I'd like to be able to better tell what effect an item will have on the hero like adding or subtracting effects.

I've never really liked the Protector series, the interface seems a bit funny and cluttered, the tutorial 'walls of text' are not exactly helpful to the people that just want a quick, game. such things as tutorials are largely unnecessary with a good interface...

I just can't place any of my unit onto the battle map.
(I tried before and after the first wave started, having enough gp.)

Ro9qe, apparently if you look closely at the unit, you'll see a small symbol there, it'll be either a sword, bow, or twinkle. That'll tell you the unit type. So alchemists are ranged.

Darn it, I forgot another one, haha. Make a sell unit button. You're sneaky about making like, twenty waves weak to an element and then making the very last boss absorb the same element. Instead of making us stack up new units to outdamage the other ones, just please allow us to sell the old ones off. Okay, I'm really done now. :p

Oh, and I forgot - please put the skull indicator for an enemy kill next to the damage done instead of replacing it. It's nice to see how much damage the unit is doing, especially with those one-shot overkills.
