It would also be cool if there would be more various designs of "valueble items", and also (even more importanat) some "space" for the player to select and gradiate (arange them in chosen order, 1st,2nd, 3rd....) valuable items, because it is a bit confusing when I have to try to find a certain item (for example "elemental switch: cold" (especially if I have arround 90 items:).

I agree that it would be cool if we could speed up the game more than 1 time.
It is a suggestion that game creators figure out a way to eneble players to create their own environments. For example, I like this game, but the tile combination (environment) are always the same and it would be great if there were more different designs. I personally would love to have a chance to offer some designs and ideas of my own (player's design should maybe be approved by admin just to filter the worse designs).

I haven't tried this yet(because my char is now high lvl so hard to farm exp for this... shouldn't went for max range+melee) but... if u have high enough merchant stat and enough badges.... would the purchase price be LOWER than the selling price? (badge giving 20/30% discount, and merchant giving 20% discount and 40% increased selling price)
that means I can get 3k off of one cycle of buying and selling a 10k item(the two specific shop only give 20 on badge, too bad) and use that gold to max a hero out.....
AFter a rough calculation, a hero to max stat costs about 1.5m exp, that's 3k scrolls, or 4.75m gold(at the would be 50% discount), which takes 1250 trade cycles... lots of clicking, but.... it would be just continous clicking after a while...
anyone gotten a maxed hero this way yet(if the trade thing is possible)? sadly, there is no good way of maxing out char stat easily(which... takes about 8m exp, so... good luck with that) not that u need to cause a maxed hero is sick~~

Good game, definitely lacks depth though... once you beat the main story (which is friggin easy to do) there is absolutely no replay value... the miniquests are aimless, money and experience get more and more scarce... 5/5 but you need more questline type levels or at least deeper sidequesting

Today marks the SECOND time I've put in Weeks worth of hours to have my game reset!!! I sent an email to the site the first time and none of the tech guys responded! You need to move to a password system in the future instead of this autosave bulls*&&.

Would love it if you would organize the badges, by effect(first list +attack stuff, then list discount stuff etc, and then list all the +gold after battle or something to that effect) or by how to get them(first list all the rep ones, then list all the loot related ones, and then all the quest related ones, in order) cause as it is... I have a hard time finding new badges&know what is the total bonus of each element etc i'm having...
pretty easy game thou.... in the end, other than absorb+weakness, I can beat anything without thinking with crossbow+ranger(20+18 range on hero, 20 on char...) might be nice if u add a few "chanllenge" tasks after story etc are done... perhaps one of each "element"(str vs all but that one element) and then one all air, one all land, one all boss etc.... might be for future ver :-D

1. Melee units are useful, because they will utterly destroy anything on the ground that isn't strong against them.
2. While I agree that mages may have a slight edge, particularly archmages, the other units are still useful, particularly alchemists and protectorate troops. the only useless units in my opinion, are engineers/technomancers and most guild units - minimal damaging capability :(

Only things I don't like is that melee seems generally worthless, the protectipedia doesn't contain much info about status effects and sometimes new hero have badly invested skills.

One of the best tower defense games out there. Upgrading Protector to a game that has skill upgrades outside of levels...that was a phenomenal decision. I am one level away from beating the entire game, and I'm not sure I want to be done that soon... :)

yeah, why couldn't melee units swing (If inaccuratlly) at airbourn enemies? or at the worst of circumstances, or critical hits, throw thier damn swords at 'em?

WTF?! I just came on this game and suddenly I, apparently, logged in as Kay8899. But I'm DarthSteven! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?!

Ahhhh, I can't rag on this game enough. Why does it let me buy talent-giving scrolls when I already have the talent? I mean, there's fifty of them--do you really expect me to go through each one, remember the stupid names, and then make sure that the hugely expensive scroll has a different skill? When you first start out, the "physical" and "energy" elements are pointlessly confusing. Energy is PURPLE on the wave markers, but the physical element on the heroes is purple too! WHY WHY WHY. I wish I could vote negative numbers out of five.

When I saw this game on the front page, I started to shake violently and sob. These games are terrible. Why, why, why, are they so popular. Overlong levels and an utter rigidity make for dull, trudging gameplay that's only interrupted when you make a mistake (because you can't take mistakes back, so it's game over for you). Awful balance, dreadful music, and just... it's just the worst... why... no more... don't make any more... please, God. Please.

My one complaint would be that this game is far too biased towards units that can hit flying enemies. It makes using melee units near useless in most situations, which is a real shame.

Nice timewaster. It's a good game, but i wouldn't go all out with it. The only thing its lacking is funness, idk just my opinion. I like My Pet Protector more even tho they are almost the same. Oh, and the CPU is retarded. Even though what i said was bad, it's still a decent game to play and spend some minutes of your lives on.

Why do all the enemy units go along the road and your units only do on paved areas, not grassy or slightly obstructed areas? Do the suffer from OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) ? Or are they retarded?

the longest track i've seen was 25 waves. i dont see why the talents are so in-depth when without about 35+ waves is needed for a fully upgraded party

Good Game, but kinda short Story. It ends really quick. Only Motivation afterwards is to get all Rewards and find all Items for that Adventurer.
What i didnt like that much, was the display of upgradable units. That Glitter is kinda confusing, if many units stand next to each other. The upgrade screen as well i would prefer a different workout. A Visuality of how strong upgraded a unit is would be nice i guess. (Maybe 1 Point, 2 Point, .., 1 Star, 2 Star.. at your own units)
Just a few Stimulations for your next games. I like them very much ;)

Easily one of the best games on Kongregate. Well done, sir. Well done. Only addition I would suggest is that, during a quest, you can hover over your Basic and Advanced units and see their stats just as you can in the Hero window. I tend to forget.
P.S. I renamed my favorite poison-based hero Bret Michaels xD

Fun game it took me a little bit to get going but then once i did I had few problems. One thing I did not notice till the end of the game was that space bar will cancel the unit you clicked. It was a good waste of time keep up the good work.

An option to sell your your turrets in missions would be nice. Even a ''delete'' button to make them go away for no money would help. I was doing a mission with full fire, then i noticed the last wave is fire absorb, then he just walked past the map 21 times killing me, teleporting back to the start half of the time.

are there any more storyline quests after the 22 red ones and the flitwind ranger quests? I beat all those but are there faction storyline quests?
