I don't suppose there's any way to reset your personal stats? Otherwise some of the talents seem mutually exclusive unless you do loads and loads of grinding.

@fritsthecat: no, that'd be terrible. The heroes have icons and the units have outlines, those are perfect. Just colors would be ugly as hell.

*Major* Scroll of Forgetting (or something analogous) bug: "...a SMALL amount of experience is lost in the transfer" (emphasis mine). Really? Then how did my 12 levels -- 3900 experience worth -- only yield me 200 experience to redistribute?

Good game, but has one small flaw...
One thing that I found to be a little annoying has to do with the heroes and elements. When I started out, I had heroes with physical (fists), fire (huge fire), and energy (the lightining bolt) symbols. But when I read their stats it said, physical, fire, and fire, so I was utterly confused. In battle, I had my heroes with the correct correct colors for fire and energy.
Then after playing awhile, random my original hero with the fire symbol turned into an energy symbol, and had all of its units changed to energy. (But still says fire in the stats)
Later on, I hired another hero with the fire symbol, and stat, and after awhile he aswell became an energy hero. I am soo confused on how to keep a fire hero (since a lot of the battles I have, mainly have monsters weak to fire)
Undefined, am I doing something wrong? Do you have any suggestions?

go for logistics, it helps with when you want to deploy mass units, or just a little amount of units. saves time too when you want to get advanced units early

An attack command on the unit would be nice. (Attack first, attack strongest, attack weakest, etc). Poison is largely useless when the wizard attacks the same unit until it is dead.

Instead of such great graphics, it would have been nice to just give the color of what that person is. Without that, it is making the game really hard.

Classic case of 'too much of a good thing'. The game is overdone IMO. Not bad, mind you, but very busy, even needlessly so.

Don't try to sound fancy if you can't be bothered to get your text spell-checked by someone who speaks proper English. "the expertly wroted" proctopedia? Really?

Thanks for a great game! 5/5 You could try making consumable items stack since a pack mule like me is taking up way too many pages

Finally, i can start looking at other things in life - all badges in - thankfully there is no badge for all talents and protectormons

Congratulations! You just won the No Stranger with Arkandia Badge and 30 points! That game is more a time waster than a difficult one ! But still awesome game ! 5/5

I found a strategy that makes this game a breeze.
I only used the trainee unit of Kirana, one of the starting heroes.
You only have to place her and yours level up points in magic use, buy or use items that add to that stat too. That way you will deal so much damage that you wont even need to level up your trainees, and you wont even notice if the monsters are strong to the element used.
The only problem will be the enemies that absorb the elemente used. To avoid that, equip one elemente changing item. I haven't seen any stage that all elements are absorbed.
In my game, kirana has 38 magic use, 38, 0 other stats. The trainee units deal 70 dmg without any upgrade.
I haven't lost a single life after i started using this strategy, and it’s hard to see one monster walking more thar 10 steps.
Maybe this could be done with throwers and archers too.
Melee units are totally useless.
I hope this helps people like me, who spend almost 3 days without winning any level

Actually, does this game has an ending? I don't get storyline quest any more, only normal quests. However this normal quests have flags in red and green on the map. What about the green storyline? How many should I get? I've got only 4 of them, but the next green flag is indicated as normal.

It would be nice to actually see a physical number given to your skills instead of saying that it gives an increase. Also having a higher cap for advanced units so they could have more skills or else more trees to have more to choose from. The Protectopedia needs a lot of work. It would be nice to see what each unit does before buying the hero. Also the ability to turn a basic unit into an advanced unit would be a very good feature. For instance if you have a maxed out wizard being able to pay 100 gp to turn it into a archwizard with all the previous stats. Even with the speed up button the game still runs too slowly it would be nice to be able to increase the speed even more. Overall a great game but sometimes a bit to slow. Best game so far!

Can I say that I really wish other games had been expanded to the absurd extent that this one has? Like, you know, Thing-thing or Sonny or Crimson Warfare. *sigh* oh well. It's better than the other protector games, and a pretty good one overall. 4/5

All I can say is wow. I like the game!
Had an interesting map today tho, was using the Thief unit (4 of them) all upgraded fully to get items, and used a +500% luck potion I had found earlier. I ended up with 342 items found on one map.

I guess I'll have to join the rest and complain about lack of explanation, but also notice how those background questions resemble the ones in Mount&Blade: Warband. A lot. Otherwise, the game is really good, I just hope you fix the already infamous bug soon. :)

@zarathos: Also, the Huscarl actually doesn't have the best dps. Augments can deal out more dps despite not having 2 damage upgrade trees due to their better base damage and speed, plus you get a little bonus AP that the Huscarl doesn't have.
