can someone tell me the difference between hero leadership and tactics? the description says it lowers units cost to level up by 2% per point. is there any difference between the two?

good game. would have expected it in the strategy/defence section of kongregate, along with all the other tower defence games.

=[ calculator is all wrong. If it says You get 2% extra damage per point and I have 15 points. So I should get 30% damage. Yet my damage just goes from 14 to 15.

i hate it when you have a good defense, your feeling good, then the last wave is 1 guy that is absorbent to your defense. -_-

The items that your heroes can equip take the pace out of the game for me. Between fights I:
1) spend XP points of self and heroes. 2) Check which missions are available, which types of enemies per mission I will get. 3) Decide which mission and which heroes to choose. 4) Go to heroes screen to make sure they have proper items equipped. A bunch of not-so-very-interesting items dropping make this last part cloudy, and selling them off takes a load of time as well. I'd like to see them removed alltogether tbh.

I cannot seem to save my game. I do have a kongregate account, and I am logged in. Also, I have my global storage settings (for Adobe Flash) set to unlimited storage, as well as my web-site storeage settings. What am I doing wrong? I am running Mozilla Firefox Version 3.6.13 and Windows 7.

(5/5) I've been playing this game for about an hour. This game is so good, I forgot I had other windows opened and forgot there were badges. Very addicting gameplay. Looking forward to beating this.

the real trick to beating the fast movers in game, is to place more units , and upgrade them uniformly. It is more difficult if you have few units and especially if the early ones are upgraded quickly, then the later units not only are less but also have fewer damage points. so by the time the early ones are ready for a shot the rats or bats are already on to the next tile. Hire and Upgrade archers to kill flying units. Switch elementals only for the last few laps. The initial ones are easy to clear.

@chrisrulz the lower the number for "speed" means the lower the amount of time it takes for the unit to swing/shoot again

What makes this game fun is that it is pure strategy with adventure gameplay. It isn,t to short and it makes you think graphics are simple yet fun, and it is a whole new level of clasic tower defense game rate up if you agree.

Well, it's just not working. The main menu always disappears and reappears, can't click any of them. I can select them with keyboard, but non of them are active. Firefox and Chromium.

The only way for melee units to hit flying is by having a springy/strong legs skill so they can jump and strike like in cartoons. Or by using a boomerang instead of sword.

Ohh I just found some rly cool.. in your protectomon collection if u click on a unit it does a attack animation... I rly like discovering stuff like that ^^

I really think that Melee units get passed over because they are useless against flying, maybe make them only able to hit flying units. I suggest instead of being unable to attack flying units, give Melee units a penalty while attacking Flying units. ( -50% attack rate, +15% dodge rate etc.) I would love to use Melee more but honestly they just aren't worth it right now. I feel like I'm missing some of the game. Anyone else feel that way?
