I've noticed a lot of times the preview of what a wave is going to be on the main map and then when you get into the mission are completely different. For instance I picked an archer for a mission that on the main map had around 9 waves that would be flying and when I get into the mission, only 4 waves were flying....... what gives?

Great Game. I recommend waiting around till Instructor Irina shows up and rocking EVERYTHING with Engineers and the occasional Augmented. Uh yeah. Boom. Heh. p.s. this one plays better than 4.5.

Eugh, I was really looking forward to this game at the start of it, picking my character and such. And then when the first level started I was truly disappointed, the graphics are just terrible. And this comment will probably get downrated.

-"Alright crossbowmen! We need to stop that flying dragon."
-"No problem sir, I'll shoot its ankle. it'll slow its flying down for good."

As this series progresses, it gets increasingly complex. Personally, I reckon this one takes it too far. Especially with the upgrading system. It just feels clunky to me because I'm so used to the one from Protector I through III.

General, shoul we keep our well trained soldiers and archmage for our next battle?" "Nahh!!! Fire them, and pick some new random fools, is time for their first battle!!" "But sir! Been playing a few days and figured out how to keep my game saved, signed on today and my game is gone. This definitely needs to be fixed but other than that when I've been playing the game it's been great.

Love the random names you can get, it's ones of those fun hidden jokes. Harry Potter the Wizard, Northern Polarity the Knight, ect.

Great game! 1 suggestion though, it would be nice to be able to re-arrange my heroes and items by type (all frost heroes together or all ranged heroes together, etc...)

is there anyway i can get my units to stop attacking a boss because he keeps absorbing everything and i cant deal damage when he heals it all

Can there please be a way to keep track of progress on the skills? Because the stats don't show how much gold I've stolen or the amount of rages or stuff.

I thought there were storyline quests for each faction, but I gave recievd 4 quest from rangers, 2 from mages and only 1 from thieves. I have already completed the main quest by the way.

I find it extremely depressing that this is the most popular Protector game (with the possible exception of the My Pet Protectors). I suppose it's the most accessible game in the series so far, but saying that it's the best is like saying that Diary of Wimpy Kid is better than A Tale of Two Cities because it's easier to read. That's not to say that this game isn't great fun (my analogy was severely exaggerated to make a point), most the other games are just, in the strictest sense of the phrase, of higher higher quality.

My advice. Ignore the melee units, they can't attack flying units and therefore do nothing but suck up experience your range characters need. Instead invest all of your points into either archery or magic. When you look at the scout bar. Don't worry about what the enemies are weak to. Look to see if there is any element on the map that none of the enemies are strong against. There's usually at least one, and about 80% of the time that element is fire. If you up your ranged or magic skills. You should be able to take out all the enemies on the map with just a couple basic units.
