Under rating threshold (show) The Skaran watcher was always supposed to be a slow big hitter due to it being the only basic unit with access to the "KtD" special. When used correctly it is still probably the most powerful pure damage basic unit in the game, before the update it was simply the only unit you ever needed.

Under rating threshold (show) you should split the shield indicating incomming waves in half and put colors corresponding to both elemental strength and weakness instead of just weakness, games pretty good otherwise

Under rating threshold (show) maybe its just my problem, but i think you can change the heroes element durable with items "elemental switch: ELEMENT", maybe thats wanted, but for me it seems that the usable scrolls are meant to do such thinks. and that is how it works: equip your hero 2 items of that type, one of it should be of the element you want your hero to be, then you unquip the item with the element-switch you dont want. when you now unequip the last element switch item your hero keeps beeing that element. hope you can understand it despite of my english.

Under rating threshold (show) Too easy once you have 3-4 heroes with good equipment, you can finish any map with 3-4 basic units being upgraded as you go. The main thing I liked about the first three was the high difficulty.

Under rating threshold (show) Its impossible to get the Beserk skill, because even at 35% beserk chance, the fighters rarely go Beserk. Sometimes they kill 100 foes without going Beserk at all. If you have a high specialism, your beserk can last up to a minute, so you would have perhaps 5 beserk counts every game... Try to get to 1000 with that.

Under rating threshold (show) awesome game. needs more balance between units: wizards are way too owerpowered. Once u get them as basic unit for your main heroes there's nothing to do more than spamming the right-elemented ones to finish the game. All "gound" units are too annoying to use because of flying enemies, and all other magic/ranged have awful stats compared to wizards, exept trainee (again mages) and engineers/alchemists (but seems they dont grow in hitting power, so mages become better in the final part of the game)

Under rating threshold (show) Needs to be rebalanced. Watchers, Paladins and anything else with bonuses based on kills are just silly. Watchers especially.. I can go for straight +ranged and utterly obliterate almost any map with only two of them. The only things I fear are absorbs.. \\ Game is great to begin with, has balance issues.. have no clue what units do what, have no clue what stores have what items, have to wander around too much.. most items are complete garbage and have to be sold. The general mechanics are great, the UI needs some tweaking (and spelling corrections), the game is repetitive and the replayability is just a veneer.. not really thought out.

Under rating threshold (show) It says that you SPEND money and experience when you upgrade an unit. However, when I upgrade an unit I get EXTRA experience. Is that a bug? And does it make a difference in experience of leaders if you upgrade their units or not?

Under rating threshold (show) Its not a bad game, but i personally dont think it holds up to the rest of the series, I could deal with different heroes leveling up and having different units but the set element is what really anoys me. There are some levels that i need a fire unit which i have but all the enemies are flying, what gives, the electric does crap against that :( i like choosing the element as i go, maybe for next installment have unit types be bought instead of heroes and let elements be chosen upon creation

Under rating threshold (show) the combi fire thief Electric skirmisher and cold Watcher pwned all maps for me (most used the thiefes since theyr just speed kill machines with nice loot chance and quite nice dmg and huge range most used just them with changing elements but in the end you will need the combi above or better sayd i needed it :>)

Under rating threshold (show) Thanks for adding in the speed up button, could there be an option to auto send waves as well? Having to click proceed then start wave gets just a wee bit annoying. But yea, concentrating on one hero makes this game a bit too easy, no real point in even changing elements eventually as long as you have 3 heroes that complement each other's weakness (or just boost elements I assume) and melee isn't needed at all - not sure what you can do about that since range is just purely much better as you no longer worry about air waves.

Under rating threshold (show) The game is too easy and there are too many variables. Having to deal with hero XP, your XP, faction relations, millions of achievements, objects and different units just means that none of them matter that much. Upgrade something somewhere and you're fine.

Under rating threshold (show) I seem to be alone in that I find this the weakest installment of the Protector series. I like the concept of in-game achievements (which feel balanced), but I don't like the new leveling system or the built-in affinities. A lot of these maps are reused maps, and though you can beat the game without repeating a single map (I did), the game seems to imply that you should grind- to wit, the achievements give you bonuses if you get 8 or 15 points in elemental affinities, and I leveled a total of 20 times through the -whole game-. Most of your points end up going into leadership to make sure you have heroes that can handle the maps. The game is, however, very pretty and smooth, lacking a lot of the bugs we've seen in the past.

Under rating threshold (show) gg, but I'm a bit confused on something...the only heroes that keep showing up at my camp are physical, fire, and energy. That's literally all I've had show up. Yet some of these levels are calling for cold and poison. I noticed that crossbowmen can slow, and archmages can poison...does that mean they are of the cold and poison elements, respectively? A bit confused as I haven't seen any cold or poison heroes yet...bad luck?

Under rating threshold (show) Sorry, prefer the old ones . Where is the challenge, in this one ? I pass nearly all the levels with 1 guy, flawless . Watchers are TOTALLY broken, especially with element changing AND the boosts from hero AND the boosts from the summoner . You end up with ridiculously high amount of damages if you spe in range, and just put this solo guy racking up all the kills on a level . Only fail on a few of the very small maps with few creeps . Still, a funny game, but pls, give us the challenge back, remove those crazy watchers .
