I keep noticing my mouse randomly shifting to the top of my screen when playing this game. Has anyone else noticed this?

dont know why, but with me at least.. sometimes when i got wave 20 in some levels start lagging too much and i cant keep playing, when i exit the level it fixes. In other levels and in final level it dont occured so i dont really know whats that.

I miss the difficulty of the others, if your making a fifth game of one of the best series on kongregate please bring back the difficulty

I did the same thing as DavOs, just powered up my fire-archers to ranged attack 100 and changed elements with Items when they absorbed fire.

Great game overall, but I think there should be a most likely impossible, possibly hard, depends, medal for getting all the talents.

My saved file is gone! What happened? I invested a lot of time in getting that uyp to snuff :( Can anyone tell me what happened, and hopw to avoid that happening in the future?

Great game! The one thing I wish is that there were some way to sort items. Even the ability to highlight which items will, say, change my hero's element -- without having to laboriously search through dozens of roll-over texts, since you can't tell what an item does by looking at it -- would be an improvement.

Wizard+Achwizard/energy (council) Footman+Huscarl/cold (Hillfolk) Patroller+Defender/fire (protectorate) and you have the most uber combo of hyper-specialized wizard+fighter+archer in the game.
No point even investing on anything else, except changing Phyisical attack to Cold/Energy to avoid resistances.

Anyone else that have noticed that if you speed up time the critters are faster but your guys firespeed have not improved in the same rate matching the increased speed of the critters?

there should be some panel on the unit screen that has the attack after all upgrades not just base because who can do plus 40% of 40% of 17 or something

Fantastic game, just have minor bug (I think) to report. When clicking on the mission breifing page, it shows some units as "flying" that aren't (for instance I've had flying orcs and goblins). Once I actually do the mission it's fine, it's just that screen where you pick your heroes before the level.

I just went through the intro again, and also read through all of protectapedia about it, couldn't find anything telling how to gain leadership. Also, it's not just my comments being downthumbed but others that hardly deserve it.

I must add i do find it strange how anything remotely negative is instantly downthumbed to death, is fandom so huge on this game that people don't like anything remotely negative?

Why was my comment downthumbed so nobody could see it? Honestly i was asking a question trying to get an answer so forgive me for being frustrated. I just want to know how to gain more leadership to get more heroes, gees...

great game im in level/guest 5 desided to comment i havent found any bugs or glitches in the game yet im loving the graphigs and the upgrades

Hmmm.... Can protector 3 become even better and better? Well YES! Certainly! And here is what i call an EXCELLENT sequel. Proector 4 is a huge, cool, excellent defence game, with great music, good depth, balanced difficulty, items, heroes, creature ability tree, user skills, user abilities. Great game! Deserves 5/5 with no doubt!

Can we please get a real "fast forward" button? 10x speed or so for when I don't want to watch a hundred zombies stumble at slightly-slower-than-average speed through a large map?

Great game, superior compared to the other versions of Protector. Really good job. However, I did notice some bugs in the game and several spelling errors, mostly in quests. There were several mistakes with the creatures which should be flying. Instead they were normal, walking creatures and not flying as described. Small issues but noticable. Anyway, 4/5.
