Can you put in some method of seeing the armour value of the enemy? I've lost a lot of battles simply because all of a sudden all my units are doing zero damage without warning.
How much armour can a floating skull have anyway? It's a skull.

Bug or feature? After finishing levels I get the message that new heroes are available but they are nowhere to be seen. Am I missing something?

There should be much more difficult levels - one or two heroes with maxed Magic Use and Archwizards are beating each lvls without losing single life

Next time, try not to rip off SO MANY ICONS as blatantly as you did from Pet Protector 2. Course, I dunno if that guy ripped off something else, so hey. Needless to say, this game rocks pretty god-damn hard, everything about it is pretty solid. Lots of cool, balanced units and skills, plenty of upgrading room, and a great quest/loot system. Keep up the good work.

Idea: Instead of just choosing the leftmost/topmost/whatever unit when two units are able to hit a creature at the same time, make it a random function. Too many times I've set two units on a path with the same coverage, but only one ever hits the creatures without any discernible rhyme or reason.

It says a lot if my only gripe is that the waves are a bit too slow to travel. The levels are somewhat boring for the first 3/4ths, but nevertheless, a very well made game. Certainly a nearly unrivaled complexity for a flash game.

is it just me or the troop cost reduction for the talents are bugged?
i had hoarder and widely popular talents, which both reduce placement gold by 1g, but the cost to place basic units are still at 24g each

My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that the Speed Up button isn't fast enough. There should be a 1x, 1.5x, 2x, and 3x. Other than that, this is close to being one of my favorite Kongregate games.

you can get the medium achivment if you play same level all over and over again. So i got the medium achivement but i cant get the critical hit for easy and im on quest level 5. So if you now solution for the critical hit please tell me that on my profile

The "necrosis" equivalent skill is really strong. Won many maps with as much as two Watchers adding 60% of their kill count to damage. One watcher could still lose in tightly packed waves though, doesn't shoot fast enough.

All Badges done. 9h hours played. 5/5, first protector made me come to kongregate, this one keep the legend in its place. Well done!

Like the game a bit, but a fairly prevalent bug has been bothering me. The before level scout report generally has the correct elements, but often times random extra abilities are added. When it adds a second flying entry to a flying enemy, or claims the ogres fly, that's fine; I can figure it out relatively easily. The issue comes when it claims a dragon that walks is flying, or that something absorbs when it does not, and I plan accordingly.

Getting exp takes time, and leveling the heroes can take time too since you have to get the right map to get good exp. Most often you need to look for a map that just appear random.
Then the requirements for getting the next amount of exp goes up quite fast. The fact we need to get the same amount of exp as before plus more makes it a bit tiresome.

The skill raising system gets boring and objects... well... no comments about that. The first 3 missions are funny, but then gets too much repetitive, like the music. 3/5

Is there any reason to buy lots of heroes? Imho 5 strong heroes (one for each element, or even only 3 heroes with element switching items) are much better than 10 mediocre.

Now this was worth playing. Even went into the last story quest with three heroes I barely used and came out victorious. I cannot wait for more to do within this game.

@lobis, yeh mine is the same. i listen to music on grooveshark and when i finish each level the music pauses and i have to unpause it every single time :p

If you fail a mission/quest/map do you not get a chance to try again? I failed a 10 level map with 9 waves of flying. Now it's no longer on the map????
