This is HARD.
I don't agree that it is unbalanced: I think it is very finely balanced, so that you have to get it just right.
I've completed 5 levels, and I've been stuck for the last 8 hours or so on the next ones. Even the medium ones. On normal!

fallen mine - all you need is 2 blues in the middle of each of the middle blocks and one at the back to pick up the slack. upgrade these lads as fast as possible. for wave five i panicked and started and threw in loads of warriors but one or two good ones will do. lost one life.

at the beginning this game is very hard, but with some practice becomes easy, even in hardcore mode :3
practice
(sorry for my bad english xD!)

Well that was easy. only reason i kept dying was because 2 bats on wave 4 got through. so i switched a few skill points around and got 9 lives on the map instead of the 1 you start with. too easy!

0630 - I did. It's easy :) contact me if you wanna a walkthrough or just a hint.
Generally - great game, although VERY easy (even on hardcore mode) when you learn a few tricks.
Can't wait version 2.0!!

how the heck do I beat fallen mine, I have a total of 16 skill points and cant find any way to beat it. tried using destructors with the 10% exp bonus skills that didnt help much, just got to wave 4 instead of 3 before dying...any help?

Sradac, it is really a lot of fun, until you finish it. I don't see much replay value. Desktop Tower Defense 1.5, in the other hand, provided me hours, days and months of fun, until I managed to get the impossible badge. After that, I still played for a few days, improving my technique....

h1.So f@cking retard!I can't kill the very last very hard on hardcore.i've spend all pts on every possible skills, who beat it?

possibly the best defense game on here. while gemcraft is tons of fun too it gets a bit boring after a while. Every map in protector requires a different defense and different skill sets, love the diversity.

Still one of the better tower defense games around, but as far as sequels go there's not a whole lot of difference from the first. On the surface there appears to be many changes, but once you get into the meat of the game you quickly see that there isn't much different at all. Still, the badges make it a worthwhile 'replay'. 3/5

Dekasa...that's the way I was going, but that didn't work. however, someone else gave me an idea I used 2 warriors, w/ critical special....ranked up pretty high, and only one mage with poison over 1000 exp. I was able to win...though, the final boss monster killed all but one life.... :) thanks, now I am stuck again, trying different things out now.....

I liked the first one and was able to beat it, but this one seems unbalanced and way more difficult. Simply not as enjoyable.

Just like all other protector games, its boring, not fun, time-wasting, frustrating, retarded, etc.. This game basically just sucks. Even Gemcraft is better than this pile of crap.
1/5

@ otisdis,
You have to get some mages to use cripple to get the hordes all to 1 health. Then use an archer to shoot down the bats and the other high armor frogs. I think you have to have at least 11 or 12 skill points to do it though.

anyone notice how the 2nd and 3rd guy you place will always be extremely more badass than any other guy, doing like 4 times more damage than he really should? use it to your advantage!

@Juken
Warriors tend to do well against zombies. Give them fire weapons and they'll tear through the shambling hordes, but you'll need to use the Consecrate ability if you want them to do anything to the boss.

How the hell do you beat the final throne? It's just a rush at wave 9, if anyone finishes it, can the post a vid or strat? thanks
