I think sadistic is right Kitana_Blue -- I just finished the easy(?) Path to Shoreview and the win message was "Such talent and skill wasted on a game". undefined is a sadist who enjoys punishing us for playing computer games.

This game is crazy hard without cheats. Too many levels where only a certain wizard/fighter selection and upgrade path cracks the final boss ... and you have to start from scratch each time to find out what that is. If I wanted to spend this much effort on a puzzle I'd be cracking terrorist codes for the NSA instead of wasting my time on Kongregate.

Just as stupidly hard as the first part. Basically you have very build-options to succeed with, and have to play the medium and hard levels many times in search of the right combination. I hate this game, because it's basically very well done but ruined by sadistic programming.

oh and also knowing your supposed to leave some of the mages unleveled on certain levels... how could u possibly know that without reading a faq or waay too much trial and error, fun but disappointing

great game but a little too hard imo, i'm playing on normal, and in some levels it comes down to exactly how many mages/warriors you made (because of xp distribution) and what talents you gave them, which requires way too much trial and error for the fun factor to be very high

every1 always says they hate the songs or its bad cuz u cant change the sound well got a solution use ur computer or mute all volume!

ericbloedow, just make 4 mages, two front ones leave unleveled, two bottom ones make ice, make sure one of them is an destructor, then after the ice waves upgrade the other two front mages to fire and max em both out. Use the + lives skill and you should only loose one may be two lives and have a SHIT load of gold left over

that's so annoying...the final boss is worth 50,000 gold, but the level ends the instant you kill him, so it doesn't make any difference! (old shaven road)

Underdogs Translation:
A complicated game, with complicated strategies, but very entertaining once you get used to it. Although I need the Impossible badge(I think he means hard) but I'll get it. I recomend this game. Although I like Protector 1 more.

While many of the new features - like the wave progress indicators and the speed-up button - are welcomed improvements, the further bifurcation of the mage skill tree takes a lot away from the strategy element of the prior version. More choice doesn't always make for a better game.

Nice game. Seems like Necrosis needs some tweaking though. It was so powerful in the first game but completely irrelevant in this one. Even after 300+ kills for a single protector holy light still does more damage and gets greater benefits.

It's the first "Hard"level you come across, in the lower left bottom of the map. I think you need to beat the medium level there first.

on the first version of game, when u click on any enemy you could see its health.. that s not availbale in this version except the automic window appears with bosses..

Great game 5/5, but they should have made a faster setting. Also, this goes out to alot of people-- They purposely keep the "sell" or "remove" button out to make it more crucial to plan out all of your defenses. If you could sell, then maps like Frog Puddle wouldn't be unique and challenging. Personally, I think the game is as close to perfection as a Tower Defense game could get (which is pretty frickin close)

The two best things about Protector 1, are still the two best things about Protector 2...
1. Tepid Medium (track #7)
2. Fleeting Stones (track #5)
Those two bgm's alone MADE the game. The first game was extremely fun, even more so than Desktop Tower Defense 1.5
I thought the second installment would be pretty much the same, but it's completely different. Warrior actually have relevance, and the inflictions kick butt.

A "faster" setting (faster than what you can choose now).
