dang this is alot tougher than the first and im coming accross quite a bit of bugs lik not being able to lvl up mages, some of my units not attacking/damaging enemies
and i agree with ammuel, they should've had something lik the paladins and necromancers for more advanced units

I truly love the idea of making the leveling engine so you can cross level mages and dexers. It adds a bit more strategy into the game. 5/5

Pepsi it's so if a stage with all poison weakness comes you can use poison mages for max damage but can also have any affliction.

the mages srent just different color certain monsters have weaknesses and immunitys thats what th colors are for

its the element, pretty much the element = the damage buffs on enemies weaker or stronger than it, whereas the effect can be interchangeable, which is awesum :P

Ok now the mages make no sence i mean come on i chose poison mage,but he can also have the debuff like the electric mage.It makes no damn sence so whats the difference between them now?Oh yeah just different colors -.-

Fun game, I like it but after reading some of the comments I agree that it still needs alot of tweaking in every area.

think i found a bug, wave 13 of Achirion Wastes, consisted of invulerable bugs, i had more than 30 mages, and couldnt even harm a bug...wasnt a question of resistance....bug?..please someone test it.

i found a error! when i start the game there stand (Protector: Redaiming the Throne) and not(Protector: Reclaiming the Throne)?

There are many innovations and slightly better graphics. But as it contains the same levels, it is not much of a sequel.

'The last one was so good I didn't bother checking to make sure the sequel wasn't just milking off the first before scoring it high' ... I hate people like that.
As for the game, what's with the lag? Seems like it's doing alot of extra background memory grinding.

much better than number 1 as u can choose what the mages element is and now the soldiers also can ahve elements which is kwl especially when u hav an army of fire soldiers and mages

Nice, even better than the last one, especially the speed up button and having more control over how to upgrade.
I hit a bug on the Path to Shoreview map, though, where only the first four people I put in did anything, the others did no damage and never gained any experiance.

@outlaw /sigh the term base is clearly pointed out, since raw dmg increases are not a strict 5,5 10 or we, an increase at level 1 should increase the amount u get at 2 and 3 etc. Anyone should be able to figure that out

these upgrades suck, just like in the last one. what does a +1 base damage do for you in a game where the enemy has 600 hP?

Ty for the AI which makes my 'poison damage over time'-mage to target unpoisened monsters as favorite.

in fact they're BOTH correct, just the coutnries spell it different. (everyone in the UK should spell it armour, like me)

so anyway..I love the new improvements but I wish I can still use the necromancer and paladins
but hey at least I think I found something to be of equal to the necromancer in this version
that is
fire inflictor + cripple + generalization and again further increase to generalization

Some bugs that need to be corrected, and I'd rather have seen some new maps instead of the skill tree getting revamped. Still, it's great to have it be more challenging, and the original was so good that this still gets 5/5.
