Done the New Throne with Fire and Energy Destructors.. And a lot of warriors specialy for the last boss:)
Really a good game, but there would be a little bit more logic, of you could control your troops.. I mean, "Shoot first", "Last", "Tough", "Weak", "Fastest", "Most neighbours".. I saw this in one TD game and it was very nice feature to have such a control over your troops action. May be they would do this in the next version?:)

There seem to be a good amount of typos in this game... Other than that it seems great. I love how there's so much strategy and planning that you have to put into it! There are tons of ways to go, and yet it still does include that ancient strategic question that there is in every single TD game... Quality or quantity? I may never have been that great at TD games, but I've still enjoyed them, and this one does the genre proud.

I think I found a bug. if you do massive damage to an enemy who absorbs the type of damage you do, their health overflows and the enemy dies somehow. Kind of neat if it is a feature (absorbing so much health that it blew up)

If you want to win normal mode shipyard-
Have 20 ability pts. put all into warrior and left side of general (hardy-frugal tree all the way)
Start out by putting 3 warriors at the top and the rest on the bottom half, do not fill in the middle until level 3-4
Once the whole map is filled in, upgrade everybody as soon as they level, don't worry about some units not getting xp. At maybe round 8-15 can't remember which start paving the top screen little island so theyres 6 spots, and just pave anf fillin the other spots with warriors.
only fill in spaces after u have levelled everyone and have money left over.
Just upgrade generalist-damage-and destructor the whole way thru

This game is ridiculously, frustratingly difficult, and I haven't even got to hardcore yet. 5/5 for a well-balanced game.

PEOPLE! For the captured map thing, put every single warrior you have on the abillity CONSECRATE so there is no absorbing!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
for captured shipyard, I had to save that till the very end. I used only warriors, equipped most of them as physical the rest as energy, then make sure you use consecration.

I've tried tons of different tactics on the captured shipyard but so far I haven't got anyone to work. If anyone has some tips for it I would be grateful.

I get tired of people saying "DUR DUR CANT U SEE DIS IS ULTIMA ONLYNE!!" I personally was not aware ultima online was a tower defense game. It may have the same sprites but who really cares? Other than a few cosmetic similaritys the games are completely different. UO sucked and this one is fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
first off, this game is a copy off of ultima onle, stop giving it so much credit, and for green giant, Ultima Online was around since 1997, so blow
the concept of the game is well, but it sucks in creativity

I'm not even sure how this happened, but I have no points invested in scouts and yet for some reason I have all the info about the waves...I like it more than the first one anyways, and i like how talents are set up in this one.

Updates look awesome.
Patches FTW.
Don't be afraid to debuff the new scout tree some if it needs it. Looks incredibly powerful at the moment, but still much better than the old one.

The difficulty curve is just a bit too high. Well probably alot too high. It also suffers from alot more slowdown than the previous installment. New class upgrades and skill tree are a plus. But the first two things really hinder the enjoyment of this game.

Alarion, its not a bug. The monsters on that map have crap loads of armor. you need to hit them with poison damage and armor piercing dexers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Alarion - Incorrect. Look at the enemies' defense. It is excessively high, meaning you need to upgrade them to the limit.

most of the levels get to hard to quick and that makes it really really hard to pass them, requires way more strategy than the first, over all i give it a 4/5

Excellent. I greatly appreciate that you made the change to scouting -- it makes more sense now gameplay-wise, and the new scouting skills are entertaining and use so far. Thanks! :-)

I never spent too much on the first Protector - it's a very time consuming game - but this time around the depth of the unit levels is really entertaining.

While it's great to see a new version to deal with the actual bugs, I'm really disappointed to see how much easier the changes to the scouting and skintflint (sic) trees made the game. It's rare to get a truly challenging strategy game. This was, and now isn't.

Okay I've just seen the levels in the Not so Vast Forest map... LOL. If I hadn't already rated this 5/5 I'd've added an extra point just for that.
