still having trouble with fallen mine. Found out that I can kill round 3 with a destroyer, I can't find something to kill round 4 though.

Such a marvelous concept...and yet the actual gameplay is one of the single most frustrating pieces of flaming crap I've ever played.
Which makes it all the more saddening...

What I said was that I miss being able to see exactly what a unit upgrade would do from the upgrade-picking window.

Also, charging me skillpoints for the scout functions is silly.
I can just set up the scout stuff, open a level, take a note of everything, end the level, then respec.
Scout stuff should be free.

It's harder than the previous one. Well, at least for me. I've never been good at this kind of game.

In not so vast forest, the first hard level, I had 2 remaining lives and the last guy got through and I lost. What happened?

awsume game compared to last one like the idea of how you get to pick wat they do as they level up awsume idea I haven't seen any bugs yet

Last: status effects will randomly appear on monsters for unknown reasons, even when none of your units are upgraded past level 1

@Traagen - You have to buy the scout ability via the general tab.
@Mylon - I feel the same way...
@Author - Great game. Solid foundation. Guaranteed to receive badges. However, I do have one complaint... And that is the fact that you don't get a confirmation for if you would really like to add the skill point to the skill you're looking at. That's.. Not so fun.
Alas, this game also has no reset button. Another complaint from me.. But other than that, great game.

What happened to the bar that tells you what resistance units are coming up? I really liked that. Now, there doesn't seem to be anything giving you info on what to expect in the level.

I don't like how each unit has so many options. Before it was as simple as, "bam, fire mage", but now I have to remember how many debuffers, slowers, etc. I have and if I have too many and if I should specialize and... Yeah. That's too much micro.

Great game, just like the last one.
It's been a much greater challenge for me, which is really just how I like it. :D
I guess I just have to get used to the changes in leveling up.

woo hoo i beat stone field border with 1 fire and 1 poision archer and a field full of lvl 1 mages a few up front with debuff MY FIRER ARCHER REACHED LEGANDARY STATUS at end it had 100% concertation 318 damage and.....3 range u get 2 choose between extra range and an upgraded ariel attk when u reach legendary lvl :) its right after elder 2000 exp

wow, way to keep the same feel of the old and really put a lot of work and improve upon the concept of the game... kudos, this is shaping to be one of the best "franchise" titles.

Does this have the same problem where its more cost effective to buy more units than to upgrade? It ruined the last one, since there's no point in upgrading units.

Another fantastic offering in the Protector series. Some of the music is excellent, the animation is much improved, and the UI feels responsive. Thanks for the great game. (o:

The key to fallen mine is Cripple and Destruction skill.. I managed to get 2 destructors (with cripple) and one 2-nd level water mage with cripple in front of them before the Hellfrogs. It worked:)

How do you beat fallen mine? There is a character that has only 25dmg and yet nothing I do seems to take a single point off them.
