I think there's a bug in the game... it may be a randomizer, but I think its a bug...
Many times my soldiers do different damage when i restart a map, or even sometimes at the same map. like eg. I had 2 level 2 upgraded fire soldiers, and I made a 1 basic warrior before them, and he was dealing more damage than the fire warriors, even though the enemy had fire weakness.
and many times on the same map, my basic soldiers will do different damage to enemies, one will kill them completely and one only partially.
and now just happened; at one of the maps I had 2 wizards, both level 4. one was fire and one was energy, and the enemy had energy weakness but my fire wizard was doing more damage. Even though both were upgraded Equally.
Anyone else feeling the same thing?

Wow. This sucker is way harder than the original. Not sure that is a good thing cause I am stuck at the moment.
At least it is a challenge as opposed to the cake walk of the original.

Game is SOOOO impossible. I've been on it all day and not working but I have yet to clear ONE more level. Way too hard and it's not fun if you can never win.

5/5 All day long. For the ppl struggling make sure u build from the back to ensure xp for your back troops. Also make sure u check all the elements of the enemy before u upgrade.

poorage, we dont suck, you just dont have a life, back to the game, 5/5 great stradegy game, #3 offer more people to hire, such as archer, cavalry ect., also add in like the ability to like be the defender or the attacker O_o

only real flaw with the game, as previously stated, is the mage targetting, but to a degree that factors in with the strategy of the game

Hmm. OK, you've disconnected the elemental type of damage from the effect of that damage... why then do the colors of your mages correspend to the former and not the latter? The fact that your mages are now all 'fire' mages or 'cold' mages is unimportant to any but the early planning stages of the level.

Cripple special, Rogues and Quickspells are absolutely useless. Never use them. I've completed hardcore mode without them. Also, I haven't noticed any difference when upgrading Infliction and Imbued Arrows and when I had all four 25% absorption reductions foes kept healing themselves with my attacks. I guess this got to be fixed somehow. 5/5.

Runningfiend if you should spend less time commenting on pointless things, you should know that in some maps NONE of the waves are flying and dexters do more damage overall

@Runningfiend. This game is all about planning. The bar at the bottom of the screen tells you each waves strength, weakness and special abilities. If you see half the map have flying, don't use warriors.
Get in, check each wave, get out, reset/spend skillpoints, retry and pass the level. :)
