I have to agree, customizing per level up as it is right now is very, very confusing and intimidating. In the old system, you knew what you were getting..

I mean, melee guys with an elemental attack. Gimme a break, it should be just steel and brawn. And by letting any elemental mage specialize on any effect you take out their uniqueness, that was apparent on last version.

Loved the last version of the game, but this seems a step down. Too complicated, when you separate element and effect.

pyrov@
he was saying he was using the fast forward button but it wasnt moving fast enough so he was requestion for a faster speed on it

consistantly I keep losingthe ability to select a mage when it comes time to upgrade... I can select anything else... justnotthe mage......annoying

Like someothers have said, the speed up button is nice but not nearly fast enough
Also, it seems like the monster that is closest to the exit should always be the target

I went through like 6 or 7 levels of pure torture and couldn't beat the next level before I realized there was an easier difficulty. Now I'm going to start over...

I can't help being annoyed at the fact that you can't micro. i've never made a flash game before so it may be an unreasonable request but it gets annoying not being able to target enermies.

Gave the 1st one a 5/5, this one gets another. Great game! Only thing that I think really needs improving is the speed. A speed up button's great but if they still move annoyingly slow it doesn't really help.

I hate how you can build up a perfect army and then have to do the next level. The levels are WAYYY to long too. It'll take a couple years to beat the game.... :|

Great game. I give it 5/5 for being basically perfect in execution. It is way too difficult for me on Normal, but hey, I can't make you lose points if I suck :)

few soldiers high lvl
mixed few, hing lvl
mixed many low lvl

Fun and great game, but im just not good at all at games like these

5/5

I didn't like the first one, this one is a little better. It would improve the pace of the game, imo, if the monster trains were shorter so that levels could be over sooner.

I'd like to see in the next Protector game an anti-TD, where you send out units to besiege the monsters dungeons. I think it would make a nice twist and also be innovative, like Protector and Protector 2. That's my 2 cents.

@ so0meo0: You are in no position to criticise the game, as you admit to having only played the first two levels.
You cannot say that the enemies are all the same. There are many more enemies out there, in the levels beyond the second.
As for skill points, they're designed to help you gradually as you advance through the game. This is because levels get harder.
Don't talk bull. This game is one of the best I've played. At times, I fail at a level time and time again, I admit. There's more than one way to do something, and that's what this is about. Just because you suck at the game doesn't mean the game is crap. If it is explain why it is rated at 4.39 (original) and 4.33 (sequel).
Explain why that in the 175 days the original has been out it has had over 3.7 million gameplays (over 20000 plays daily), and that this has had 80000 gameplays in the mere two days it has been out (40000 plays daily).

spine of kraxos is fine u need 2 use a thing called strategy if u see a leak build more mages behind enemy 2 hit it and infection works best infection + energy mage + destructor or inflictor

When there are multiple paths enemies need to split more evenly between them. You can easily get a mass of creatures going one road completely ignoring the other one, screwing you up completely since you need to equally fortify roads (Speaking about levels where the roads are completely seperate, ala Spine of Kraxos)
