and now seriously is there a strategy for the last lvl at all?
tried only mages fully skilled and planing on the 2.nd resistance when the fire weakness starts i got all mages with fire -> no chance
tried all warriors full skill same thing
tried mixed same thing..
wth??
is there really a way for this lvl?? i just dont get it at all..

How was the first one a failure? It was one of the most popular games on kongregate. just because your terrible at it doesnt mean the game is bad

omg... Still the same retarded skill points thingy. Not really any better than original. If anything it's actually much worse. And that's saying something because the original sucked! Here's the deal with sequels... Only make it if the prequel was good. This didn't follow that rule at all, so tat's why this game sucks. I played the first two levels and here's what I noticed: *On level 1 you get about 3 times the points as level 2. * The gameplay is just the same as the original. * The interface is exactly the same, only you need to buy any good features. This totally sucks * Even the majority of enemies are the same. * The score is glitchy. I beat two levels and it still says that my Highscore-Normal is the exact same as when I beat one level. * The skill points are hard to earn, and unless you get about 50 don't really do anything.(smiley_unlimited's comment)

just a little thing to say- if you are a nooband having trouble beating levels, play on cawardly, you coward. dont rate it badly cause you suck at it. if you complain abotu the skill points? go hack, get more. oone cares, you are just a noob. complaining abotu the difficulty? suck it up, you just dotn know how to play it properly.
also, highscore is your highest score for one level i think....
stop complaining cause you suck, make up some real reasons.
and at you, smily, i'd like to see you make a game better...

You can beat "the concert" with two energy/consecration warriors/archers and nothing else. Similar tactics work on a few other levels in normal mode. A little too easy for normal, but still fun.

As for elemental warriors, range kills them. well-placed well-skileld (e.g. with appropriate skills on me) mages do just fine.

On the issue with not knowing whats comming, all your have to do is put the four skill points into everything spy related, look at what is comming weakness and armoUr wise then reset your stat trees and plan accordingly. And trust me elemental warriors are awesome and really serve a good purpose in the later levels when you need massive damage early on

Lol. lets compare to protector 1:
- Special units are gone. hoo-hum, and I thought they added diversity..
- Obvious "element-special" link is gone. hoo-hum, slowign green and poisoning red really ADDS SO MUCH to the game!!! like, ungrounded complexity!
- creep warnings are gone. Now I need to pay 3 skill points total to get it. Great. Rly.
ALL it helps is makign us die and re-start level writing down on paper what killed us. Surprise!
- added elemental warriors. Hoo-hum, makes TONS of sence to have units that are useful like once under a purple moon... what, purple moon never happens? Well ,these units are nto too great either...
3/5 just because some of the core elements of protector 1 are still good. Overall, epic fail.

Problem: I can't make the advanced class window go away. It says I don't have enough skill points to get two of the options, so it seems like I should be able to dismiss the window and choose again later.

kindda lame. It was the same as the last. its a step down in my opinion from the last one. As everyone has already said it is just a sequel

How would you say this is even like Last Stand 2, Last Stand 2 is an action/shooting game, this is a strategy defense, game. 5/5

also, simply going by 'easy' 'medium' and 'hard' is no longer enough. One so-called medium can be far harder than another and trying to doing them in the wrong order is nearly futile.

Making seeing enemy resistances into a skill is a real step backwards. It was stupid already had you usually had to enter a battle to see weaknesses and resign immediately to reconfigure skills... now, instead of letting you see waves before entering an area, players have to reconfigure reset skills twice per map or waste skill points.

they're not doing any damage because the frog's armour is higher than your attack, you need to level up just 1 mage before the frogs come up

alright nvm about the "spending points on extra lives per lvl thing" there's too many frogs...and now i cant lvl up anything in fallen mine either so this majorly sucks

no clue why but i think the only way to get past fallen mine is to go to the spend points page and buy alot of extra lives per lvl and let all the frogs on wave three past

has anyone tried the "fallen mine" yet? I can't get past wave 3 because for some reason the enemies won't take any damage. I've tried everything, warriors, cold mages, fire mages, reassigning points...Nothing seems to work, those stupid frogs won't even take one single point of damage. WTF?
