SPEED BUTTON NEEDED!

Spartan and Surspender: the "It does not need to be in the same game as the other two conditions." means that you dont need to make 2 necromancers, 2 paldins, and 4 energy mages ALL in one game.
But you still have to do both necromancers in one game, both paldins in one game, and all 4 energy mages in one game, just it can be 3 seperate games.

Surspender: it means that if you make a necromancer or alchemist or whatever, the game won't count it unless you finish the map during that game. However, you don't have to make both necromancers in the same game.

You must complete the map for this condition to register. It does not need to be in the same game as the other two conditions.
What does that mean?

I would definately like to see the characters change and or the shot change visually as I upgrade. Sooo long and boring waiting for enemies to pass..NEEDS a speed button...great game!

Next level should be available at any time... or automatically starting levels so I can go do something else... A bit tedious.

I have to amend what I said a little bit.
It seemed like everything was being absorbed because I was using Necromancers, and the enemies were Energy-absorbing.
HOWEVER, the game nowhere says Necromancers attacked with Energy. Not in the Pedia, or anywhere else. My planning was not flawed at all, I was just not told.

Please tell me you're kidding, if you can't adapt to a new strategy for that (i.e. actually prepare and think) then you shouldn't be playing such a challenging and strategic game. As the game says "Maybe you should stick to Sims". Don't give it a poor rating because you can't beat one wave...

MarsPhoenix and Staypuff: you should never be "surprise-screwed" because you get info on ALL waves at any point during a level. You click on any of the numbered squares on the bottom, and each will tell you that specific wave's strenght, weakness and special abilities (fast, absorb, regen, etc.) Therefore, you should plan your strategy from the beginning.

is there any reason when playing 'vast forest' i can't upgrade any of my men???? took all skill points off in case any of them specified no upgrades, but it still doesn't work? am i meant to complete this hard map using only the basic men????

Might be a bit too hard. One can have a perfect strategy, only to get surprise-screwed in the 2nd last mission of a marathon by an enemy that absorbs everything but one element, and since you can't sell units, everything will be healing the bastard. I find this to be a big strike to the game. But, the rest of it is very solid. It's quite ironic, since the game tells you that you shouldn't be able to sell units because making mistakes is part of the player's fault, but you can re-assign skills whenever you please. I suppose skills can be screwed in the long-run, though. ANYWAYS, I'm throwing in a 4/5.
