Wow, I was playing this game when the card and badges were implemented. Something tells me that Greg didn't play the game though... The "chiv dexers" are Paladins.

Very very interesting. The music suits the game quite well, even though I will always listen to my metal before anything. :P The game is very interesting, I like the idea and the process is executed amazingly. Congratulations on such a good job!

Necrosis makes that unit's attacks more powerful based on how many kill shots it has. The more % in necrosis, the more value the kill shots add. Place a necro near the back of your towers to maximize kill shots.

Scoring is a little odd. You get points for spending money, but you also get money for keeping money. That's not really a lot of help. If it only did one of those, then it would make more sense to replay levels with a high scoring strategy.

I have had an issue where i sometimes cannot select the mages and the such; I feel like it happened most when a creep that I was watching died,
however I found that clicking on a new creep and then closing that window would fix the issue for me;
for a time.

Third day in a row that I can't continue the game, have to start at the beginning again.
This is distinctly irritating. Is is happening because of frequent updates, invalidating saves? I'm on firefox on ubuntu.

Funny, the last boss on The Lighthouse didn't have regen for me. Level 35 did, but I killed him on the second pass. This version is very fun though, 5/5 easy.

5/5 from me.
You have a mage named Belgarion in this game. That's five stars on its own.
Great game even without that obscure reference. :D

I freaking love this game. Best defense game i've played. The only thing I wished it had was a way to speed it up, like onslaught2. Other than that, 5 stars!

Also start at the end and work your way back up so those guys can have a few levels of advancement when it is needed later.

when levelling up a mage, it seems that the "Projected Change" window is not always accurate. specifically, i've noticed that upgrading to lvl 6 (1 +5levels of generalist) the window predicts +0 to range, but after upgrading, the wizard obviously does have the +range.

over all i love this game. and i usually dont like tower defense games. the skills add a great aspect to it. it adds a strategy aspect that i find makes it more fun and more interesting.
what it needs. i agree with some previous comment that a skill that give you more gold would be good, but i can see you you wouldnt want to do that. the other two things are minor changes but could greatly improve gameplay. one would be a 2x button, the game is slow at times, especially early on in larger stages. second is a simple button that allows you to see the states of the next wave while you are preparing. i sometimes forget the states ;p

Wow.......
This genre of games (tower defence) has been overdone. I am tired of these types of games. This guy is really somthing though. The graphics and the things he has added to the genre has been really thought out well, keep an eye on this one!

Upgrading as soon as possible is often NOT the best strategy. Often times it is wise to keep some cash on hand so that you can react if necessary. While some of the short 10 wave levels took a few tries, I was able to pass all of the marathons on the first try, and I didn't once use an advanced unit.

Sancdar, that's the strategy! You have to make sure you have enough firepower to pass the current level, while still being diversified enough to pass future unknown levels.

It's not really "deep strategy" when you can't see what's coming to plan ahead. Some maps have an obvious theme, others just pull random crap out to own you.

There needs to be some way of sliding the view area. The final Insane Marathon has a lot of tiles you can't see at the edges of the screen.
