Great game. Although the absorb thing really killed me a lot. O and at DinkALot; Purple guys reduce their elemental defenses which make your mages do more damage.

There are so many good things about this game that it's a real shame that the bugs ruin the experience. The left-click thing got me as well. Very disheartening, discourages me from investing more time in the game.

comments are fair - good game, still there is a few things to improve... and I hate myself cause I play it, though I'm sure it will get a badge sooner or later, and I will have to start again...
when the left mouse button does not work then try to select an enemy monster. Worked for me till now.

Fun game, but a few things seem to get in the way of it being really great.
1. decrease absorb strength
2. increase splash range
3. add ability to disable units (gold cost, pehaps?)
4. increase number of ground units
Then we'll talk : )

Found a use for dexters - some levels don't have that many flyers. Also on the shorter wave counts don't put skill points in advanced units as you won't get enough money to get them.

Yup, this game has a CRITICAL flaw. The absorb feature is way too strong, making it impossible to beat some later bosses unless you eliminate an entire class of wizard from your setup (There's probably a workaround by just grouping like wizards together in different corners, but I'm not going to waste more time trying it out) I'll wait for an update on this one, eagerly.

It's a really great game. Plus, I like the RPG concept.
But, the regeneration rate should be slower (had an enemy regenerating his health so fast my units could not keep up, it took them 5 rounds).
And there should be an option for the player to choose the strategy. Because the units keep attacking the first enemy which is closest to the end of the map. I would sometimes rather have the first weaken the toughest and the last attack the weakest. ^^

Dexers are completely useless. Their are too many waves of flyers. The strategy element is a difficult one, since it requires you prepare for any type of immunity. Thats not bad, in my eyes, it makes the game that much better. But, as many others have said, this game needs a button to sell or dismiss units. All in all, great game, with great playability. Needs a badge or two.

There's a bug in the game where sometimes the left mouse button stops working, while your cursor is over the play area; you can't select units to upgrade them, and while you can pick new units to place on the map, when you move the cursor over the play area, the left clicking won't place the unit. VERY annoying to have this happen in a game where you're doing well.

I call 200th, or so...good TD game. I am sure badges are in the works, with no need to request. ;) Sorta OT here, but I wish there were a 2 player TD game (or is there?) Yep 4.3/5

You really need a way to disable units. Move them, shut them down, fire them, something.
If you get a wave that absorbs a certain kind of damage, and you have a lot of units of that kind, you're sunk. And there's no way to plan ahead for such an event. A strategy game that requires you to know the future isn't fun. Having to replay a level because you screwed yourself early on is NOT considered replayability.

I agree that there are far too many flyers. I seldom buy dexers. They're quite useful for ground units but half of the time they're just waiting.
Also a "dismiss" button would be nice. Even if you don't get back any money. Or a "don't-shoot-this-round button" for specific mages.
Good game

Same comment as AeroFluff.. especially about the lighthouse map. Rrrr
You shouldnt have to Know what enemies are coming to set up their walk especialy. It ruins the whole level up to be stronger part if enemies are weak to flame for the first ten waves and practically immune to it the rest of the time.
more enemies should be suceptible to spash damage to.
Otherwise its a very well made game
very enjoyable 3-4/5

Absorb could have its power halved, as it is absorbing units are making me play through a level 2 or 3 times in order to get anything close to beating the level. This is on medium levels, I shudder to think what Hard would be like. As for your quest for better level design, I'd be happy to try to put some together for you, if you could put an editor of sorts together.

Yeah... Lighthouse Easy Marathon i little bit insane. I've got to 39lvl without loosing any lives, but on last boss I lost all of them;| Now I just skilling to make my mages more powerfull. Have a nice game;)

Well, if you have a balanced defense (ie roughly equal of each sort of wizard), then you suffer a lot less from absorbing waves. Building all purple is ok - until you hit a level full of purple absorbers. The correct strategy is to avoid having to many of any particular type of wizard in your defense.

omfg, the one thing that completely pissed me off that forced me to give it a 3/5 is the fact that i cannot delete anything once i place it. lvl 40 on easy marathon, last boss abosorbs all purp attacks, i have necros all over, now he can never die cus he absorbs all my crap, now im not even gonna bother playing the rest. the whole strategy part is crap cus u cannot strategize shit all more than a lvl ahead of time...
its got alot of content but not too amazingingly thought out.
-rant off

Great implementation. For the people bashing it "because it's just another TD", does that mean I can say Lamborghinis suck because they're just another 4-wheeled vehicle. If you don't like TD games don't play them. And even if you don't like something, there's a difference between acknowledging the work and quality put into it, versus a true ripoff.
I agree with the comments saying level design needs a little work; having your ENTIRE defense invalidated by a single map (regen + absorb boss) should not be a game breaker. This forces you to memorise waves, which is NOT what dynamic strategy is about (there should not be only 1 way to win a map).
A great map allows you to pull victories from near-defeats. That makes the experience all the much sweeter, and makes people feel good about your game.

Wave 34 of the Lighthouse Easy Marathon is BS. Fast flying absorb is really difficult, and my setup was killing stuff perfectly with no problems before that. I pretty much lost 35+ lives on that wave alone. Secondly, yes, the game has clicking problems sometimes, and the only way to fix it is to click on an enemy to select them, then reclick what you were trying to place or whatever. Eh... 2/5.

one more thing: the physical upgrade from defender is needed here. Visually being able to see the weak spots in your defense is important, rather than clicking on every single person and creating massive lag.
[4/5 anyway]

Is poison damage X/sec or X/min? and does this increase/decrease with weakness/strength/electrocution? Or does only base damage increase?
Also, great game. Only complaint is that access to pedia during gameplay would help new players. I frequently had to end a game b/c i didn't know what do do or i had used the wrong mage combos.

WTF!?
Easy - 40
Level 40 Boss
Absolutely Brilliant, stick a boos that's absolutely unkillable unless you set everything up perfectly right at the end of a match that take about 30 minutes.
Good level planning there douchebag.
