A challenging game. Great time waster too, only there should be a fast forward button for when you just wanna win. 4/5.

Selecting enemies is far too difficult. As opposed to everything else in the game, you have to click on the enemy directly rather than the square. I can see this would be difficult if not impossible to program, since they're constantly moving, rather than hopping by squares, but a suggestion or two: Have a box in one of the top corners that constantly displays exactly what the "upcoming wave" box does, but during the wave, and before you actually allow it to pass. Oftentimes I forget what it is and have to check later, which takes a while due to the hard to click-ness of it, and it's bad strategy in the first place. Possibly the box would have an auto-hide. Usually, in lieu of boss waves, I just want to know the general stats of the wave, not the numerical health; since bosses move fairly slowly in the first place, clicking on them to see health isn't very hard. Basically this box would solve nearly all my complaints. Except that the difficulty curve is too steep, but ah well.

I give this game 5/5. Even when the game gets me upset I keep coming back. The concept is awesome! The skill tree is a wonderful idea. I only wish there was more animation, and perhaps a visible effect to the troops being upgraded like in the beta.

This game has a lot of potential, imo. Speed it up a little bit, work on being able to select units easier, and some other minor annoyances, and it could be great. People that complain seem to be used to games that are easy and require no thought. This one is very challenging in a good way. Kudos.

I like the way that you cannot sell off mages, that's what seperates this game from other tower defense games.Still agree on the slowness factor, does help me get through an 8 hr. shift.

whenever i kill an enemy with a mage it seems to lag =\, and when the poison kills it from a green mage it doesnt lag :DD

the game was short and the special units were not needed to beat the maps and are useless by the time you get enough gold for 1 you can have a level 5 regular doing much more damage so they are nothing more then a vanity feture at best.

How does it figure maps? I show 14 maps won on the stats but only 9 on the badge count? Also, I beat another map - finally - but still at 9.

The "hire 5 green mages" challenge doesn't register for me.
Tried it on 2 maps, a medium one that I hadn't won yet and the tutorial maps, it just won't register.
I win the map and nothing happens.

This is a fun game but I am no longer going to play it. An easy map with 20 waves offers no challenge and yet due to the speed you are forced to spend upwards of 40 min playing it. This is ridiculous. Add a fast forward button.

Serious flaw of not being able to sell mages, or at least tell them to quit firing for a while. How should I know there will be a poison absorbing enemy later???

I can't play this game : it freezes for a second every time a mage shoots ! and that seems to be a known bug... How are we supposed to get the card in time ?

Scarily addicting. Got the card and the easy badge pretty quickly, but that damn easy marathon keep kicking my ass - how do you get past the bats in Wave 21?

To Cosmix, just buy 5 poison or green mages in one map and then beat that map. The easiest would be to do an easy 10 wave and buy some red mages to kill everything and then 5 green just because you need 5. Test it out.

"5 poison mages hired – You must hire all 5 poison mages on a single map, then go on to complete it!"
Can someone explain this part of the card challenge pls

Much better than Defender, especially on the interface.
The world map and small story elements are very nice additions.
Still, the same balancing problems Defender had remain.
Specialist mages just aren't that useful.
As it stands, poisoning, slowing or electrifying one enemy in a wave isn't very good.
They're useful for boss waves, but bosses are usually immune to all effects.
Making their effects Splash (not the damage, just the effect) would go a long way to redeem them.
To keep the unique aspect of Red Mages, they could be a little more damaging.

Save games have gone missing twice in the last two days. The sharedobjects name gets random capital letters, likely only bugs linux users.

Oh, while I'm busy hating the game, I'd like to point out some extremely annoying flaws.
1) You can't turn off an counter-productive unit. I lost the tutorial map because I placed several poison wizards and only found out during level 10 that the final boss gets healed by poison. >_<
2) You can't tell a counter-productive mage to just stop firing!
3) Most of the levels on the easy maps are pure blowouts. Alas, there's no way to speed things up so you just have to wait for each enemy to be easily picked off. Boring.

Am I the only one who wants to see the once novel Tower Defence fad just go away? Played the game, got the card, got quite bored during the game. It got to the point where I wasn't watching half of the gameplay and was just hoping that the placed wizards would do the job unaided. (They did.)
