"Deep strategy and involving depth, deceptively simple to play, yet so many avenues and strategies to master."
Right, the only thing that makes this game hard is that the stages have random immunities and strengths you cannot ofcourse guess beforehand, so, no matter how smart or good you are on strategy games you cant get in there and win, only thing you need is LUCK or a walkthrough, i suggest the later. Waste of time without one.

Strike that. The ingame menu says I have won 21 maps, the badge 18.. i would be nice with a more schematic overview on which maps are won/lost and locked/unlocked...

The badge says i have completed 18 out of 23 maps but the game says I have played 21 maps... i don't recall having lost any, but is there anyway to tell if I didn't complete some of those i played?

AIGuy - What order did you but pavement / upgrade? I can't seem to beat the thriller zombie wave and it's driving me nuts!

1pmr... they're immune to special fire abilities, but weak against fire,, so 4 red mages upgraded with power, not special abilities will do it

can't get through unknown ruins :(
21 maps finished
on wave 8 theres too much zombies, i can only kill them if i hire all dexers, but wave 9 is flying wave

Possibly due to server problems on the 12th Feb, I completed the 2nd Medium Marathon using 2 Necromancers and 2 Paladins, and haven't been credited with my Life, Death and Honor Badge. (I already had used 5 energy mages). I feel like screaming!!

To beat the mainland mines put 2 poison mages at the front all specilist, some poison mages sprinkled throughout and the rest red mages

PROS: Good music, okay clone of the Tower Defense concept, good campaign structure.
CONS: No selling of units, games move slowly (not in terms of framerate but of flow), Protectopedia should be seperate from the game rather than only accessible from the title page

I've played the game through twice now, and I can absolutely say that I really liked it. However, I agree with the people who say that the advanced units are useless. They cost so much that to get to the point where you can afford them, you already have a good enough strategy that you don't need them.
Plus, the units that can't hit flying enemies are also useless. That's a *massive* amount of enemies that will get through if you spend any money on these units. If the waves were mixed or overlapped like in some games, then it would make sense to have some units that are good at one thing and others that are good at different things. Another thing that would make the non-fly-killing units useful is more maps that had no flying levels. If some had no flying levels and some were entirely flying levels, then it would make sense to use different units on different maps. As it is, there is so much variation within levels that you always need a general, one size fits all strategy.

I had a hard time stopping my play. This very addictive game left me wanting bonus, darn near impossible levels at the end. Oh well, time for more title squishes.

Way too easy. I've beaten 243 levels (6 maps) without dying. I keep playing cuz I think it would be fun if it was harder.

A few things, The avanced units arent worth it. I've nevers used them in any of the 23 lvls. the only time i used them was to get the badge. If you just get enough mages. and upgrade them enough it will do the trick.
Also the game is a bit easy.
So we made a few challanges ourselfs..
Rat trap withouth dexters.

For the rest, great game.

Thought I was going to give this a 4/5, but it just gets to easy when you've got 15 skillpoints and can buy 'Ultimate Mastery'. This, coupled with the slow speed, means I have to downgrade to a 3/5.

answer to 16belowzero's coment, because yellow would stand out too much and is just too bright to be in a game with dark and evil looking graphics. (No offence undefined)

This game is the first one I just couldnt bare to get the card be cause 1: it is WAY repetitive, and 2: takes WAAYY too long to play and lllaaagggss too much.

3/5 - Levels need retuning. It's too easy on most levels to figure out which elemental is the best (either because it is never a strength, or if it is a strength, never an absorb) and rebalance the skill points to maximize that elemental's effectiveness. Only one level on which I've tried this approach has it not worked. Sometimes I've used a combination of two units (red and blue on one of the shrine levels, because both had an absorb level), but usually I'm able to get through a level with only a couple of lives lost, usually to the bosses and not the hoardes.
