GeoAtreides, here's how you get past Stonefield Border.
Do all the easy and medium levels first. That will give you enough skill points to max out the mages. Mages with full skill points are ridiculously powerful because of their speed boost.
Second, don't use anything but mages. Fill up every open tile with mages and use an equal amount of each type. Don't buy any fire mages for the first wave. You shouldn't have to spend any money on paving new tiles, I didn't.
That should do it. I usually upgrade the guys at the front as nothing but specialists and everything else as nothing but generalists.

I am terrible with games and these are the ones that I am not good with. However, I keep on coming back to try to get pass the levels, even though I just started.

-make it so you can level a character by paying extra
-have a button to auto-upgrade all your characters

is it me or are the sounds from morrowind (not the music, the enemies getting hit and the warriors and mages attacking)

Codeguy, yes, I beat the Easy Marahon map quite handily with 2 pallies and 2 necros on the map at the end leveled up even.
To boot, I just finished the Marathon Medium map with 2 necros and 6 pallies. Still no credit. No big deal as it's quite easy to get them placed on the maps so once he fixes whatever is going on, I will be able to get the reward.

For everyone wondering about the advanced units:
When you enter the map screen, there are Tabs up top. Click the Skills tab and you'll be taken to a screen where you can spend your skill points. Skill points are awarded when you complete a level. 1 point per level. You also have the option to re-spend those points, which can sometimes give you the upper hand in certain levels. It takes two points minimum to unlock an advanced character. Don't hesitate to think about what skills would work well with your strategy. There's even a skill to reduce the cost of paving! Have fun, and don't give up because one strategy failed. Dyson, the man who made those famous vacuums, failed over three thousand times with his prototypes before he created his vacuum. this is a great game, a little slow at times but quite fun. It would be nice if we could delete units, but maybe that's too similar to selling them.

I love the new wave description boxes...
BUT.... once I click on one of them, I can't change. Is it just me? Or am I doing something wrong? or is it buggy 'cause it's new?
Otherwise, I'm loving it.

Ugh...This game isnt loading for me. Its just a plain black screen.
I've refreshed and stuff, And I'll try clearing my Cache.

addme - just keep playing the game and leveling your guys. As long as you don't make new games, and just continue existing games you'll eventually get 101 levels

OMFG I accidentally refreshed the page on level 31 of a tough marathon map. I HATE THIS GAME I HATE KONGREGATE. Ahh. Now I feel better.

Wave browser glitch!
If you hit "end game" with a certain wave selected, you won't be able to select waves in the next game!

I have beaten levels with a necro and beaten levels with a paladin and i still only have one credited to each...even though i have done like eight

another bug: when you click one thing on the incoming wave bar it does not let you click a different wave until that wave has been completed and passed.
