NipGrip, did you complete the maps when you bought the Paladins and Necros? I got credit for them once I beat the map.

Kungfuturtle, here are some tips for making the game easier.
Only use mages. Lots of mages. No dexers, no special units, just lots of mages.
Make sure you spend all the stat points. You get one for each map you beat. Put them all into the mages in between levels.

I really like this game - it's cool that there are so many maps (even if it makes the "legendary protector badge" harder to get). Couple of suggestions: show levels, fast forward, wave-level save, don't allow HARD maps to be attempted if they'll be impossible. Still, 5/5 and looking forward to the next version.

It sorta does both, though the second descriptor is most accurate. It reduces the monster's resistance to damage across all elements by the percentage listed for the particular mage. See the in-game documentation for the official explanation.

Very Nice game, Although the RPG system does make the game considerably easier to complete.
The Autosave feature is also nice

Yay for the wave browser!
Question: how exactly is experience calculated? If it is damage done over total creature experience, then poison and area affect damage reduces the amount of xp you get (and, conversely, regenerators can grant extra experience)

I think the game is great, but once you unlock all the mage-skills it becomes a cakewalk. Also I am not really certain what the purple mages does - some people says it increases the damage done to the creature by consecutive attacks, but others say it reduces the elemental resistance - in such a case it would only be good against creaturs which was resistance towards other mages of yours. Please clarify this point. Also I'd appreciate some clarification regarding the how the stats is increased with the levels.

Read the Protectopedia in-game. There IS NO SELL BUTTON by design. The game is quite challenging without one yet actually fairly easy once you figure out a strategy of what to build based on looking at the upcoming monsters bar.
Please fix the bug with the 2 Paladins and 2 Necros, it's not counting them currently towards the challenge.

I love this game a lot, it's kinda like taking a skill tree from an RPG and giving it to a TD, very nice. The only problem I hae is that sometimes It's hjard for me to click on an enemy to see its life, it must have a really small threshold where you have to click to select it.

Fun games but it needs:
1.) Start next wave button/controllable game speed.
2.) MOST IMPORTANTLY: It badly needs a sell button.

the wave browser is fantastic, and in no way reduces the skill required to win the game.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is confusing "memorising ability" with the concept of "skill".
This is NOT peter's game; memory should have nothing to do with it. This is a game about tactics, placement, etc - and the most important aspect of such games is almost always that increased honesty from the game increases the quality of gameplay.
This is why games nowadays expose the DPS statistic etc - because it makes the game BETTER.
Keep up the good work - keep polishing!

Love it! I find the early waves quite hard in relation to the rest, as gold rewards are less but you need a lot of kill power, especially later medium areas. Necromancers are too weak for their cost, can you up their power? Congrats 5/5

its damn slow. this could be improved by having a button which starts the next wave whiple the current isnt quite over yet

My only complaint is that when you click on a mage to view its stats, you have to then close that little window before clicking on another mage. Is there anyway to change that?

ya i dont get how the people are complaining bout the wave bar thing i seriously have no idea how to interpret that into what i should make. unless you like take that into excel and calculate all the towers possible levels after each level and when would be the best time to maximise each towers placement or some crazy thing like taht i dont see how it makes it that much easier

wave browser should be off by default, but it should be able to be turned on
personally, I don't want to play 25 rounds and then get sacked because I don't know what's coming up next and my defense is severely disadvantaged
I know this lessens the degree of skill needed, but I'm not a TD pro. the game is more fun for me if I have a chance. It's still difficult with wave browser for noobs like me

No, to get the badge where you hire ppl, you have to hire 5 purple mages in one map, you can have anyone else, but you must have atleast 5 mages. Along with the 2 palidens and necromancers, you have to complete the map first.

for the complainers who don't like the wave browser, just turn it off... it even could add to the amount of time you play, making it easy with it, and harder without it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To get the badge, you need to do each one separately, in other words ONLY have 5 purple mages, 2 necros, or 2 chivs in a map. Whether this was on purpose or not I dunno, but that's the way it seems to work.

I think the new wave browser makes things too easy... same for increased criticals. undefined: you really don't need to pander to people compaining about the game being too hard. It's just fine the way it was.

The 2 paladin and 2 necro bonus' are not being rewarded. I finished the easy marathon map last night with 2 of each on the same map and did not get the bonus. Yes, I was logged in.
That said, great game, I love it. Been playing for over 5 hours.

I hired a paladin, and in burning pass he started to hit orc manager, the final boss and owner of physical strentgh and absorb. Somehow consecrated hits of my paladin got absorbed. Bug or i understood how does it work wrong?

Great game but there isn't enough cash flow. Investing in some mages isn't worth it cuz the cash generated by it is so meager its pointless.
