Ok,I beat the game. This game is not very good for several reasons. Biggest is it needs a fast forward button. Next biggest is once you have 15 skill points, it is pathetically easy. Here's the tip: Max out the 15 mage skill points, then put one unit where he gets to 'shoot first', and then put all your other units further back. If the map has two entrances, put one unit at each entrance. Level that unit with general only. (Pick a type where none of the waves have absorbing damage of that type.) There you go - you just won every single map. Anyone who says this game has variety of strategy is kidding themselves - there is one strategy that works best all the time.

this game is so cool! a simple concept that allows for a variety of strategy. not just "this is how you do it". you can figure it out how ever you want.

seems like nobody understands necropsy (very poorly explained)
eg. if your Necromancer has 100 kills 30% necropsy, he gets 30% x 100 = 30 damage added on top of his base damage (like 40 or something, not upgraded)
that's why it says to put him in a place where he gets kills. more kills = more damage

This game has strategy yes, but its the same a > b, b > c, and c > a strategy you see elsewhere. All the towers are effectively the same until at least a second or third specialist upgrade. The game is too slow paced and too linear. Paving the road and no selling don't add any depth to the game. Selling in fact would add more strategy (i.e. do you sell your level 3 of a guy with the next stages strength for 2 level 1s of its weakness) The game has potential, but its just not good enough to engage me. 2/5

I enjoyed this game quite a bit, but I have 2 major complaints. 1: Advanced units are terrible, in every possible circumstance. There may be one or two levels where a single necro or archer isn't a complete waste of cash compared to basic units, but if so it's not by much. Alchemists and paladins are absolutely terrible for the money, period. 2: Dexers aren't very useful. A well-leveled dexer in a spot that sees a lot of enemy exposure is great on ground waves. Too bad you have to survive the flying waves too, and the money you spent on that dexer helps you not at all. If they had a range of 2 -OR- there weren't flying enemies, they'd be pretty useful. The combination of those 2 limitations, though, makes them extremely situational.

5/5!! Amazing gameplay, and good graphics. Could add some new modes, new opponents, new upgrades, new skills, and characters. This would become a great sequel with a few adjustments such as multiplayer, and an in-game save option. I loved the way u said "Time Wasted"!!! hahaha.

Completed using just basic Mages. The special characters seem to be a huge waste of gold. Throw mages down everywhere you can, pave and throw mages down, then start upgrading them. Pay attention to the next waves weakness to determine which ones you upgrade. Use a bunch of Dexer in the Rat Hole, but nowhere else. Fire and energy mages are the most useful. Fire mages upgrade faster.

Fun game, just finished the last level. It is pretty slow when you're waiting for monsters to get around the whole maze. The advanced units aren't really usefull either, I always just ended up putting a ton of regular mages right next to the entrance and just upgrading them, never could afford an advanced unit until it was too late for them to really matter anyways.

A fun game. A little slow paced and long at times, but fun nonetheless. Wonder what a paladin is for my Life, Death and Honour Badge <

a lot of times the wave browser is wrong. also, when upgrading the units general stat the 6th time, it does not say +1 range, though it does give the boost.

It would be better if the game had "save progress" option, because I have lost whole game state: I didn't get "continue game" one time I have started game again...
Great game.

@nitro
No, it is not. You WISH tibia had this kind of diversity and balance. I know, I've played it for years. Nothing at all in this has anything to do with Tibia.

Hey There. Love Protector. Got an idea for a funny bonus level – Wizard Of Oz. Put in a yellow brick road and Oz characters. Too funny!

This game is fun, but has nothing special to offer over any other tower defense game. It's too slow-paced, and not interactive enough. I find myself placing a few units and by wave 11 simply uprading them when they are outlined in red. DTD 1.5 is much more deserving of my time. 3/5

what can you do? instead of calling the game stupid, call yourself stupid and play another game where mages are balanced throughout the map. the end

100/100 - awesome fun creative game. I think it would be cool if you got to have a Hero and he would go from map to map with you gaining levels and maybe have special powers. Make another one cause its awesome!

the game is stupid. i was playing based on fire. in one level camed a wave with fire protection absob and flying. whta can i do? see it go until loose. sell button? what is that?

I dunno whats going on.. but this game has lost my save twice... Ive done half the game twice now... and it wants me to start over again.
I know its not my system because I the pizza game still has my save from months ago when it came out...
This is really frustrating.

If you make new maps, I would suggest making some with limited placement spots: this would make advanced units much more valuable even despite their cost. (right now, the best strategy seems to be placing a large number of fully skill-upgraded mages rather than a small number of advanced units)

ok, I'm not a big fan of this game or any other tower defence games, but I've got to say some things:
sbonagof - The game Saves your progress, you just have to wait the end of the map.
- The choice of not being able to sell a mage is on purpose, so that you need to plan ahead. It would be nice if you could turn off some units temporarily though

1) This game needs a SAVE function. Having to start over from scratch every time you close the browser sucks.
2) This game needs a PAUSE function.
3) This game needs a SELL MAGE function. Just because I want a poison mage in a prime spot at the beginning of a maze doesn't mean I want him there at the end.

Everyone says mostly the same things, and so do I, so in short:
The game's great, but SLOW! SLOW!
Adding waves but decreasing the number of monsters could help. OR, decrase the number of monsters, leave the waves how they are, and add new maps. Because I can't stand how I have to spend half an hour per map, and right now I'm only on the first four easy maps.
So please fix this.

this whole like not saving the game really blows. Not being able to sell units sucks as well as clicking on a guy then having to close outta it. over all the game is quite fun. 4/5

Units that do splash damage (or even poison) should get xp for all the other damage they do - not just what they do directly. Otherwise great game

One thing i would suggest is once a tower reaches level 9 it should no longer get any exp gain. I see no point in allowing a tower to still get exp when it has reached its max level. This just soaks up exp and other towers get smaller exp. DISABLE exp gain after level 9, please
