I love the idea for this game!
I would suggest adding a radar to point at the quest object and maybe a system where achievements earn you better starting equipment or something along those lines. Right now it's more a matter of luck just to find the quest object. Add those and this would evolve from a good game to a great game.

after about a billion play throughs ive only seen the princess like twice i hardly ever see her so i don't have any achievements for her....

Sticky keys made me waste over 100 rounds in 5 seconds. The bug really needs to be fixed, because as it is, it's impossible to play.

If not a radar, then a big arrow pointing at the target when it gets in your screen. How am I supposed to know which masked thing is the ninja?

I've got the sticky-key problem. Whether it's a newly developed bug (previous comments hint it might be new) or my computer, it drastically lowers my gaming experience =/ Still giving it 3/5 as the idea is quite good and from what I could play, interesting.

undefined's games are probably some of my most favorite but i am annoyed just because its only on these games that i have sticky keys :/ still 5/5 thought you're awesome :)

If you're arrow keys are sticking, it's usually caused by your browser. Internet explorer is especially bad about this. Try firefox or something else.

I am having issues with the arrow keys becoming "sticky" and sending my hero in one direction for a while. THis usually ends with me running into a creature I cannot defeat. Maybe a mouse click in the direction you want to go in.

Maybe it's just me, but sometimes arrow keys are completely going wrong, as if I was constantly on right arrow, I can't turn left... Makes the game rather difficult to play...

It's a little frustrating that my biggest challenge to any quest is just finding the objective in the time limit, even the kill quests. Turning right instead of left might be all I'm doing wrong.

for kill monster quests i just run around looking for weapons/potions usually by the end i have 15-20 potions and lv 6 or higher weapon/shield and lv 3 from treasures...not much else is needed

I have been a fan of games that Untitled comes out with for quite a while and I like that he experiments on the style of game that he makes. It's one of the only ways to learn how to make a better game that people will love.
I would suggest putting a quest arrow up that people can use to find their quest and adding in different maps with hero's that use different items and play differently if possible. I'm a sucker for a story mode and I like the style, I think that adding a bit of story to the game would not hurt if you expanded on it and made a mode that were more like an RPG where you could run around doing quests and adventuring. That would take a while longer to make but through your style of game I think it would turn out really fun to play.

24105 was by best score on completing the "kill the ninja" quest. I played this game for 18 minutes and did 4 quests.
Spend about 50 turns looking for weapon/armor upgrades and yellow/red potions. Then fight level 1 enemies until you're level 3 while looking for boss/target. Once level 3, fight level 3 mobs until you're level 5. By then, you should have 6 heal pots and at least level 6 sword/shield. Then you can take down anything in the game. By then, you should have a spare 150 turns to wander around looking for your target. If you found it by then, level up a bit more and get level 7 sword/shield if possible.

Love the game, I just have one point: the pic's for the pike and warhammer, are switched in the acheivment screen, not big, I'm just a little OCD.

it's a little hard to do most quests. i did manage to kill the ninja at level 4 but it took luck and 7 potions. you simply dont have enough turns to do most quests. for killing quests you should have more time than the others other wise you lack something to kill the monster either weapons, levels, or potions. finding quests might need a little more time but it's very simple, just dont fight thats it. maybe you should have a difficulty setting, like hard for rescuing the princess because first you have to get to level 6 then find the equipment (then find the potions if you are lower level) then find the princess then kill the guards, there is simply not enough time for all that. then have easy for searching quests like finding the queens portrait. and i would like to have a reward for the achievements like eating 50 food to get a # more health from food. and ,killing # monsters to get more starting health or whatever.

igor thats a problem with your computer all u have to do is press the arrow the way that he's stuck walking and it unfreezes dont blame the game for your own problems

Screwed up controls - the game continually locks up with my character being forced in a single direction, wasting turns and forcing me way past where i wanted to go.

no lvl 7 isn't the highest, the higher the lvl the less missing and more damage you do (to the people that complain about missing)

This game combines the excitement of standing there with the thrill of breathing.I've played better games on the Atari.

Some kind of navigation system would help -- I see radar mentioned a few times, a coordinate system would be good too especially since we seem to be on a grid.
