on level 10, even if you fill up the whole map with your soldiers, yes i have filled the whole map with planes and tans and troopers, they still say that you retreat, i even left a little space for a single invisible tan to appear on my second time trying, i play this a lot, but yeah, you can never win level 10

I love the advance wars series....idk how i found this,i was just looking for a good flash game to play :P BTW Spartan lvl is cool (unlock for beating first lvl of boot camp)

The AI takes so long to finish, particularly on level 9. Once it has moved all of its units it spends a few minuets just contemplating the meaning of life!

Flash games act as individuals and should not be graded based on if there is a similar game for a console or hand held gaming system. This game is great and although can improve it does a good job at what it wanted to do a good job in. Also online modes are mainly a console and mmo aspect. So everyone quit crying.

ok I dont know if you guys are blind, but this game isnt a rip off.....an idea can not be created without haveing it to be similar. the skirmish and multiplayers are different games. now stop commenting on how this game is similar or its missing something.

Relatively easy. It's mainly tactics and proper use of soldiers.
Overall, I give it a 4/5.
I would give a 5/5, but I'm getting semi-sick of tactic games like this.
We need more like Fire Emblem.

Great Game. But misses a lot of stuff that I believe it deserves to unleash it's full potential. Different type of Arcade((non-story-related plot-independent)) modes like Skrimishes/Spy/Capture the Flag/etc. map editor also possibly a multi-player mode and a mission creator/mapeditor. 3.5/5
1.5 points cut because I believe the game desrves the aforesaid additions.

cheap Advance Wars ripoff. Bad balancing of units. And the units are too big, and disturb the overview of the field.

Wow. Finally beat lvl.9 on normal. Here's the strategy I used in case anyone is stuck on that level:
1. Starting by securing every building you can, particularly sea and ground control and the southern warfactory.
2. Invest all your money in battle cruisers and play very defensively until you've cleared most blue forces [this should take some time]
3. When your cruisers have destroyed most of the enemy force, go aggressive and start moving on and capturing stuff, etc. until you win :p

Uh oh.. this game kind of hard.. but won't taking so long to play, maybe couple hours to complete it :D
also, the other battalions are interesting to play to, 4/5 I think :p

This is how I beat lv. 9: I did not charge my ppl to attack. Let the enemy come to you. (Tip: Do not try to capture the warmachine. Just win by killing all enemys.) Reply to this comment if it helped.

i got an achievement for bonus map even though i didnt beat it yet, also there is not a check on my goal checklist for bonus map. weird

Oil Rigs produce only $30 per turn, not $240 - making the last mission that much harder. The Advanced Oil Refineries also do not Produce the $240 stated. This may only affect the last mission. Otherwise Solid Game

ugh, the hard badge is impossible for me... how many times do i need to beat missions 1-9 over and over again to be defeating by the almighty freeze/crash...

Ive beaten campain on all three battalion games(on another site) and now im getting the badges.
Also Kogut9 the secret mission can be played again(look at the bottom of the screen)
