I don't know if you are not planning to give new equipment to any character, but the equip menu seems to be glitchy. Hex appears as having the same stuff as Rory, despite not being trained in crowbar-fu.

I'm tired of these dumb story games. They always get badges and they are not fun because you have to suffer through the un-skip-able dialogue. Start putting in a skip button for those of us who just want the action only. Not fair to those who want the badge and don't care about the story.

Love the game, the music is a little much, but good plot, battle and minigames!!! You scored another winner, VasantJ!

Don't take this the wrong way, but you can totally tell all the dialogue was written by the same person. Fun as hell, though.
Well, yeah. All games are made by me and both are comedy based so the writing style will feel familiar. But I guess you do make a point, I should change some things while making different games, I will look into it. Thanks for the insight. :)

I found out something interesting. In the tutorial, if you use the skill ''Double Attack'' and misses one, the tutorial will explain about the Rage attack, but won't let you use it. Why? Probably because the game thinks you missed both attacks and won't have the damage to finish the Gangster. When you uses the skill ''Double Attack'' again, and don't misses, the Gangster is defeated and you don't even know how the rage attack was supposed to be. Thanks for your attention, haha~

Is that Catherine Lionheart I see? The girl in Warm Welcome, she looks like she is basically either alt universe (or since it could easily be two different time periods, a future descendant) of The Lionheart Clan.

I certainly respect the steel pipe as a weapon, but I would like to ask if there will be an opportunity to change weapons on let's say heavy machine gun ?

why i cannot move my character in mission on on particular to distract again the policeman in 3rd time using the phone?

Got strange bug, on 5th floor in 1st mission. After some guy verbaly attack a guard i can't move, can't open options, nothing. But music still playing and guy in toilet still moving. I think script broke cuz i used telephone two times, and guard was in another place

I finished the demo by now. Skills are balanced, decent combat system. Roulette and life steal are my favorite skills for now on both. But I am really curious though. What does luck actualy do? Dodge and hit chance?
Also i tried to see a difference between bash and bitchslap . I really wonder if bitchslap is even worth over bash. I wish that I could see stats during combat. Its kinda unclear how much the decrease is.
Also you gived us way to many items. I only needed 1 revive in the run we had. We got like 12-13 of them? thats something :) . I think that you need to give us less items. If it keeps being generous like this I dont think its gonna be to easy for me.
Also i somehow felt like the current end boss was way easier then the actual waves of mobs we had. it was kind of a let down in terms of difficulty. But then again. its mission 2. but i hope the difficulty rises.
Yes Luck affects Dodge and Hit percentage. But mostly it affects how lucky you can be in given circumstances. for instance, player can dodge a decisive blow if his luck is high enough and get another chance. :) BitchSlap does twice the normal damage and is a certain hit attack. As for items, I am still balancing things as many people will be probably playing RPGs for the first time and items can come in handy in a desperate situation. The Boss felt easier because it was 2 against 1. But if you ignore the damage and keep attacking, you can be knocked out immediately if health is even half of current. :)

I love the game so far, however I have run into a serious lag issue that starts whenever I am targeting all foes for a random target skill attack. Its an easy fix by clicking off the game to un focus it, but this is something to look into.
Also, do you have any plans to release this on steam or are you making this Kong only?
Thanks for playing. I will look into the lag but I never had the issue myself though so it will take some time. Many have actually suggested that I release this on steam too but there are already a lot of RPg Maker games out there with similar mechanics with stock graphics and poor story and the result is that these games are considered a waste among the community so I am going to release Medieval Cop on steam first to attract the audience. :)

Excellent as always! I'm looking forward to this series! Are you going to use experience in this game, or is it going to be based on items?

Just a small bug report. On the 5th floor of the first mission. if you use the telephone 3 times. you actualy freeze the game. Kinda suprised that guard can do his animation multiple times . lol

VasantJ: true, true. However how do the Vampire's rage skills come into place then? :) AOE + healing. hardly any finishers. Anyway I felt that using any other skills than double strike for main hero and and 2xrandom attack for Vampire was not worth it. The expensive ones didnt carry a proper punch (debuff seemed irrelevant) and basic attack was very weak.

Tediously long intro you can't skip and then it won't load. Message is: 'Security Error'. That's 5 min I will never get back. 1/5

I dont see how using rage skills would be helpful. The drawback is rather big. The only way I see them in action could be a final blow to end the combat.
Yes, that's exactly what's it designed for. As battle progresses the rage meter increases, and you can use the collective force to finish off the weakened opponents with unavoidable attacks.

Just playing through the entire Prologue and I'm in love with it every step of the way. I feel like Rory here's the polar opposite of Dregg in both behaviour and ideals. Also you slipped in a high-pitched Medieval Shorts episode introduction for the hospital did you?
Thanks, I am glad you liked the new concept. Both games share the same music library so I think I used the Medieval Shorts episode intro without realizing it. XD

The rough story outlines match what we had in pilot so far, but it's much more fleshed out in this version. We get quite a lot of customised art as well. I really appreciate the addition of Villain organisation hub, too, with some optional bits of lore to learn. I find it curious that Hex uses fire magic and checks own looks in the mirror; is it another intentional deviation from typical vampire lore (like with them being very Emotional)?
In terms of gameplay, I like that there are no QTE-style attacks and they rely mostly on strategy now. The double-edged Rage attacks are a neat touch, too. The game is generous with resources, but combat still feels moderately challenging, and it's not uncommon to use up a bunch of medkits and/or bottles per battle.
It took me a lot of time to tune the battle system, I am glad it worked out. It was all thanks to the experiment with the Oneshot and the comments telling me what it needed. Since Hex is one of the main characters I added some unique characteristics to his personality and his powers which we will learn as the story progresses. :)

I just got to the first fight after the tutorial fight and I realized there is a horrible bug with rage attacks they debuff you instead of the enemy
Its not a bug. If you have read the tutorial, Rage Attacks are certain hit which means they will never miss your opponent but the drawback are the debuffs which will leave you vulnerable for certain amount of turns.

The artwork and some of the levels are still worked on but it will be finished by Halloween. Downloadable version has been made available for those who experience issues. :)
