3/5 stars... There is something odd with this game. Holding the mouse down for auto, you empty a full clip, with few enemies dead even with the best fully upgraded gun. Try clicking, and doing semi-auto. It will take less bullets to kill anything, and everything.

I quickly recognised a possible symbiosis (strengthening and living off of each other) between the Deathcraft and Sharpshooter perks. I maxed them early and used only Automatic class guns, which fire quicker so will have more chance to active the perk.
The final weapon: the Gauss Rifle is worth saving for - because it has a high base critical hit chance, enemies, especially those with larger health pools, over the course of the level, will fall much easier.
I took the gun route of 10mm-SMG, AK-47 (maxing reload and some damage), Personal Minigun (maxing damage, reload) and then saved money for about 2 levels and went straight for the Gauss Rifle.
Try to buy the 1st grade of Turret and Helicopter as soon as you can.
You may not even need any Repair or Health upgrades until around level 20.
Prioritise killing the tougher enemies and leave the measly ones for your turret, picking them off at your leisure.
Lots of this might be fairly basic but hope it might help a few people. :)

Different weapon have different critical chance. 99% bonus on critical is applied to that crit chance. E.g. if weapon has base crit chance 10% with 100% bonus its 20%.

It's not 99% chance to crit; it's +99% to the weapon's chance to crit. So if the weapon crits 50% of the time, you'll crit 99.5% of the time, but if it only crits 10% of the time you'll crit 19.9% of the time.

That's weird, I got 99% chance of crit and 90% chance of instant kill on crit, but it doesn't seem to work properly.Or I misunderstood smth?

Just like to add that if you do make a sequel, please make it so that holding the mouse button down will allow you to continue to fire after you reload - gets kinda annoying having to keep an eye on the ammo count for when you reload and aiming at the same time.

I was waiting for people to go STORM THE HOUSE RIPOFF but you all have seemed to handle this sensibly I can't believe it :")

The hit detection is really bad for trying to hit the fat men. Feels like you have to hit them in just the right spot or the game thinks you're trying to shoot behind them or something, and it got so frustrating that I don't even feel like playing anymore.

Um... was this difficulty intended? If I shoot repeatedly, 9 out of 10 zombies die in 1 shot! With this, "Easy" should be "Can't lose", "Normal" should be "Very Easy" and "Hard" should be "Easy"! And you can't use the heli to fly to safety because it will turn to zombie outbreak. Overall, I think I'll get it a 2/5. Pump up the difficulty or remove some perks to make it harder.

Sorry, where is the skill exactly? This is annoying as hell; you have to know exactly how to upgrade or you just can't do enough damage fast enough. That is stupid. A shooting game should be about aiming/skill - not figuring out your screwed up upgrade system in order to win. Seriously, I'm just constantly hitting things and I can't kill them fast enough even on easy.
You had a good idea with the perks and upgrades, but this game is just not fun.

ok storm the house, decent base, but its lacking the weak points like Elona or headshots from STH. It would also benefit from visible bullets like those bunny revenge ones (cant remember the name.) Layering was also an issue. When there was a line of fat men, the bullets would not hit any one definite fat man and thus i had to empty many mags (from ak47) before they would began to fall, rather than being able to pick them off individually. That meant taking the attack from all the fat men until they all died (or actually i died) instead of reducing their numbers as i fired.

needs to be able to switch guns mid-battle. and if yo can, tell us in-game. i wound up knee deep in a field of the butchers and regular zombies, thinking, oh, my mp5 would be perfect. but i was stuck with the magnum, not knowing if there was a way, pressing nmbers and all ordinary gun switches.

nvm, it appears to be level 10 in general. I'm playing in normal mode and other than that I can't think of what I might've done to anger the game.

Bug Report: Rather than spray bullets my AP90 SMG stops time. A very cool feature, but I could use the firing bullets more.

Okay, I can take jester looking zombies and I can take big purple monster zombies... but you lost me at the Spaceships and Rock Golems.

A big problem I see is my bullets shoot the enemy until the corpse disappears completely, even if I already defeated it. I was able to beat the game on hard by upgrading first pistol, then upgrading last. I thought the +20% x 3 base healing was important.

nice game but you have to shoot them from the bottom up. If multiple zombies are lined up only the one at the bottom of the screen can be hit

Really bad balance issue. Talents that give a 99% chance to instant kill on a crit, plus 90% greater chance to crit. Using a high crit automatic fire weapon (AK-47 or Gauss) you steamroll and the repairers have an easy time keeping up.

Hey guys, yes, it was inspired by storm the house. What I wanted to do is to add more depth by implementing perks so you could play with more varied strategy.

well not much diffrence from the other "defend your shack" games but you did a great job, love it how the fat dudes explode when you kill them *splat* XD 5/5
