A generally good attempt at a TD game. I noticed a few bugs but nothing to get worked up about (all upgrade can leave you with negative money for example). The utility upgrades only lasting a single level is unusual and not obvious but it works with the game play. The utility upgrades aren't really needed though and research points accumulate fairly quickly if you do want to buy them. The balance seems to be a bit off at some points, most levels are fairly easy and then suddenly there's a level that's next to impossible. With a bit of work this could be a really good TD series, at the moment 4/5.

Interesting game, at least the infinite levels don't lag so bad as most TD games with infinite levels 4.6 million money and no lag still. Other than the prob with research on the third page, i would rather see the ability to continue to enhance research rather use once per lvl, with a upper max limit of lvl 5 or 10. It rather well made TD, but rather simple in game mechanics. Once you unlock Plasma Cannons, they become your initial main defense setup followed by some artillery for mob support. Seismic Thumper become useful in end level maps, but I found the rest of the towers to be rather pointless. A rather good but simple TD game to spend of your time on.

I think there is a bug in how much Research Points there are. When I lose a match I start the next match with the same amount of Research Points as I had when I died.

I had a lot of fun with this game...........The only things that I focused on was armor. I never bought high ROF units since I can buy a bunch of anti-armor AOE towers which work on everything. As such the only units I used were snipers, plasma cannons and artillery. I never used any other tower except to experiment with them. Likewise I could only memorize a few tower's upgrade tracks. ........The upgrade system is very interesting. Each tower has a different upgrade track which makes the unique, but also makes it hard to memorize every tower's upgrades...........If you buy a bunch of small units (snipers) it is very annoying to upgrade all of them to the max.........I don't have the numbers for an upgrade. As such I cannot tell if upgrading a unit is better than buying a new unit........How does armor work. I assume it takes a number off of an attack so I only bought towers with high damage per bullet.

lv13 got really hard compared to the rest of the game, can we get more descriptions on the towers so we can build a strategy, not knowing the stats on fully upgraded towers is hurting us. thanks

Too many towers which are both too easy to unlock and of limited use. I had everything unlocked halfway through the game, leaving me with a bunch of towers I didn't need and no remaining sense of progression. Upgrades are too cheap - make them more powerful and more expensive, so the player feels like they're doing something other than "buy tower - click upgrade 10 times - repeat." Don't include non-permanent passive upgrades. You can just farm research (which is worthless after all tower unlocks) and buy them each level, so why not streamline the process?

I am at 30 waves and still going.....I am bored. waiting for next wave of 83K Louse to attack. Oh joy....
Can you fix the kill count, it only shows 3 digits and I know I am not getting millions of kills, since lv 31 only had 209K beetles, yet I watch the counter flipping over and over again.

i found a bug.
If you get some research points you can at the begining of any level buy the tower you like, then just hit reply level and you have all your research points back and also you keep the tower, well. if you repear the process over and over you can get all the towers by level 3 if you want

I understand why the bonuses on the upgrade tab don't stay unlocked. The game is already fairly easy, and if those unlocked permanently you'd have absolutely nothing left to spend your research on.

Oh... survival mode... cool. I'll pull up my favorite level... Hmmm... bank and research lab do nothing... that was a waste. Oh well. 20+ waves I can handle, no problem... WTF?! Suddenly 9000 stingers! 0.o There's no defense for that! LOL

Pretty solid tower defense game. I found it gets too easy about halfway through once I'd unlocked some of the later towers and didn't continue playing on - maybe the last levels get hard again? Anyway maybe a little work on balance would help. Still, kudos. Good design, great old school look and sound to it.

I like it, it has great potential. A little bit to easy overall. Not sure what exactly is missing, maybe its too easy... but something jsut keeps me from loving it completly.

not bad, here are some things that would realy help though.
A toggleable auto upgrade, clicking each tower to upgrade can be a bit of a pain especialy in leter levels, would me much more convenent to be able to drop a tower and have it upgrade to max on its own if I have the cash. hotkeys for upgrades woulnt be amiss either
Being able to see an enemies health points and armor value when you click on em.
An auto fire for nukes and weather (as a side note, only nukes seamed usefull for clearing masses of smaller things)
Also either the hazard ability of missiles/artilery doesnt work or its just not visualy displayed well.
And a graphics quality controll, i made it to lvl 27 of infanate till i laged out
A bestiary is something i tend to personaly enjoy, as well as some documentation on how different skills work (such as crits, and armor destruction, does it stack or just take the greatest, how armor actualy works, etc)
As I said, good game, but the above would add polish.

PS:
Bugs:
- Sometimes your money gets negative when you fully upgrade a tower at once.
- When your core is attacked by masses of or strong enemies, it can result in a "negative" life bar.
- When you sell a tower the ugrade and sell option of that tower remain on screen.
;-)
Well, still a very fun game. Comig back to see next update.

On the Page 3 upgrades not being permanent: I am quite early in the game but I already locked out everything. This means I can spend RP freely on the 'temporary' upgrades. Since by placing two banks and 3 research lab I can generate enough RP for the next map, the first four will be free again. (actually I still acumulate some extra RP) This makes the temporary upgrades pointless, these could be permanent from the very beginning. (I do not care about the core upgrades at this point because they never reach my core, on this level). Please make them permanent.. farming points does not makes this game any more strategic / or fun.

Well, nice game. A little bit easy, but still fun. The 3x3 towers seem to be quite weak compared with the 2x2 towers. Nuke and weather are worthless. maybe this needs a change. Done most levels just with flak and plasma. There are also some levels you can spam reshearch labs because of many weak waves of enemies. Ok, you can spend it on the upgrades whitch disappear after the level (yes, me didn't notice it either in the first place...) All in all, after balancing this a little bit more, the game wil become top.

i really liked this game, i can just say that would be great to cancel tower building with "esc" or any other key, and that would be awsome to have some upgrades or researchs based on the planets conquered
4/5 for me, excellent!

Developer - you need to clear this up. PASSIVE RESEARCH UPGRADES (page 3) last for 1 level only. They are not permanent. The only Permanent upgrade is when a tower is unlocked, it is unlocked for the rest of the game. Now, my opinion is that this makes the passive upgrades more than useless. I wasted a ton of research points on them early on. You need to make this clearer in game because the unlock is the same as the permanent tower unlocks. Tons of TD games have permanent passive upgrades. This allows (1) the enemies to get progressively more difficult and (2) allows the initial (weaker) towers to stay more relevant during the game
As I've said numerous times. ALL UPGRADES ARE TEMPORARY. If they are too expensive for you early on then don't buy them :) Later in the game when you have tons of research and no new towers to unlock they are extremely cheap.

Not a bad game but it's WAY too easy. Also, PLEASE stop complaining the 3rd page upgrades disappear. They're SUPPOSED to. If they didn't you'd have everything maxed by the end of level 6.

Congratulations, i'm a tower defence lover and this game it's not the best of course but one of the best i've seen in weeks :) 4/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmmm... 3rd page upgrades still end at end of level, bug is still in game despite the new update. If it wasn't for this bug this would be a great game so I'll try again in a few days.

Nice Little Game
I think it is a little bit to easy... Well have to try Hardmode
As soon as you have the Waste Spewer and Plasma Cannon you can beat most lvls really easy with just those 2 towers.
