uuuuhhh...i just got killed in a battle in the beginning of the game with 18 gold which isnt enough to repair my ship and i cant fight anyone cause my fleet has no HP whatsoever...sigh...

I beat the ghost ship with 3 "ship of the line's" with max hull and damage upgrades. In battle use the dynamite option and the attack the hull option. Repeat and win

A decent game, only question is "Is it really possible to win?" The ghost sip at the end seems pretty invincible with over 25000 health whereas my ships only have 1150 or so. I have already bought the best ship, upgraded everything and cashed in those stars.
The game also didn't explain how things such as sails and crew affect the fight. It does not specify whether it lead to higher AP or health or whatever.
Not bad, but needs improvement.

In the last battle with the ghost ship, all you really have to do is board the ship. The percentage is 100%, making the final battle rather pointless.

hi all yes i did it yes YES i win vs the ghost ship but its hard carvack and all auther ships are bad ship of the line is the best with it i take control of all the island but its hard i use denamine and i engage the bord

Hey all, for those who do not know why they can't beat the boss. It's probably because you have not upgraded your ship using the sheriff stars. At every town there will be a log with a star at the bottom-left corner. Use it to upgrade your ship.

this is to nartious. get all three of the best ships on the right side(the ship called ship of the line, its better for fighting), then go to upgrade and upgrade hem all the way. you want to get damage, Action Points, hull, and accuracy upgraded all the way using stars. after that, go into the battle, select dynamite, and hull, then spam it with all tree ships. you should beat him on your fourth turn. that's the easy way.

I lost a few mil in the boss fight, but I still have millions of dollars :) Not sure how to beat him, I have the best ships, with the best ammo, andI still can't conquer

ok i had played the game previously and finished it but i restarted it fresh, it was going all fine until the next day it just wouldn't load this is after i exited the tab with the game on and i havnt been able to play since

Three ships that double attack and have 332 health each attack first, over my one caravel and two cogs... yeah, they're definitely the weakest

damage:extra damage (duh)/action points: +1 AP for each ship by point/accuracy:+chances for each cannonball to hit its target/hull:+10 hull for each ship by point/cargo:+1 cargo (storage capacity) for each ship by point. REALLY loved this game, hope you make a 2nd one with more trade, ships, upgrades and bosses!!! maybe secondary quests from governors, borneo, china and africa also had pirates so a few more continents. and an option to turn of the animations of battle (the boarding animation is something to see only one time) Really hope you make a 2nd game, 5/5

Works up to the best ship..Upgrades everything.. Spends time to do all Sides quests to fully upgrade everything again..Spends time farming gold from fighting and trading... Attacks Dutchman with ALL dynamite shots.. Dutchman wins............. WTF you cant get any better so its a matter of luck getting crit hits on Dutchman? Makes note of game author to never play any other game they release and shuts game off .. Game FAIL

Do not overlook accuracy skill. It might be the skill that has most effect on your game, at least when game closes to end.

It's a good pirate game, but like some of the others said, there are some things that are not clear. It would be nice to know firsthand what each stat does and what kind of ships I'll face in the pirate-infested cities. Otherwise, it's very solid. 4/5
